Try being a fruitarian, and eat things that fall off trees so it doesn't damage the plant. Also known as tree shakers.

I do find it funny how they care about the animals and the plants etc yet don't care about the immigrint workers getting paid 5p a day to pick their fruit and nuts etc.

oh believe me he does, he used to be quite militant - protesting at Morrison's for stocking Israeli goods as he was very pro-Palestine etc. The reason that he is Vegan is not so much to do with animals. Firstly he believes it is healthier, we are currently eating an unhealthy amount of meat. Secondly, and this is the argument that would turn me into a vegan, is that he thinks it is unsustainable to grow this much meat and if other countries ate as much meat as we in Britain do the land wouldn't be able to handle it, it is far more efficient to eat crops than grow crops to give to animals.

I am one of them pescetarians. Never eaten meat but on rare occasions will eat fish. I am not one of those who somehow doesn't like the taste of meat, never have. Cod, sea bass or prawns is about my limit.

Could never be a vegan like PYA though, love my cheese too much!

I've heard in terms of the production costs of protein meat is cheaper per square yard then protein rich crops but not sure if its true.

We just eat meat because we are evolutionarily designed to go for nutrient rich foods so naturally the ones who survived in natural selection were the ones who had a taste for meat who had sufficient protein who could survive long enough and reproduce.

Naturally i remember from A level psychology when learning about eating disorders, people tend to eat food in an order that goes like carbs, protein, vitamins then the rest. Apparently when you view people eating 70% of the time they'll go for carb rich things on the plate first, and it happens in mcdonalds almost everyone has a few chips first before biting a burger because its inbuilt which i find pretty interesting.
