10/06/2012 - Day 3 - Spain - Italy, Croatia - Ireland

Spain - Italy game of the tournament for me. Expect a much more open game than you would imagine seeing Italy, and expect a shock.

Croatia - Ireland still looks like an early dead rubber for me.

Predictions? Opinions? Stuff?

 

I think Italy will get something from Spain, really looking forward to that game.

The other game should really depend on what kind of Croatia we see, they SHOULD **** all over the Irish, but we'll have to see.

Jelavic 8/1 FGS is crazy odds.

Looking at this Spain game, when Spain go forward it just looks awkward.

Brilliant, you have a load of chances but it could be a situation where they fail to convert their chances much like Holland last night.

Italy look relatively dangerous though.

 

Spain play boring football. Italy breaking attacking quick paced balls over the top etc are great to watch.

Not much diving and rolling around yet but i expect it to happen soon.

 

I'm just hoping Balotelli just does something mental in this tournament

 

I hope Ireland lose all 3.

 

Spain look exactly like a team of 6 midfielders and no strikers. Pathetic.

 

One thing I'm enjoying is Italy's slide tackles, glad the refs not giving FK's all over the place.

 

I didn't fancy Spain before today and I fancy them even less now.

I reckon they'll go out in the quarter finals.

 

Why did Balotelli think he had that much time?

Spain seem to commit a foul every time italy are on the break to slow play down. Pathetic.

I've quit my gambling. It's far far too easy to be spending lots of money even if its just small bets each time.

 

Yep probably will. Most my bets are on things that haven't happened yet though to be fair

 

Really great game of football. Two contrasting styles that made it fascinating to watch, exactly what football is about. ITV's coverage wrecked it for me, but I'm used to that now.

 

Impressed with Italy, and Spain just bore me now, they looked a different side with Torres on the pitch, if he plays in the next game and gets one he could easily get a couple more.

 

Based on that half, Italy and Spain will have no trouble beating either Ireland or Croatia

 

Ireland will be glad HT came as Croatia were threatening to do more damage, if they pick up where they left off then it could get ugly for the Irish.

Signed up to Skybet and put my free £10 on over 4.5 goals at 7/4 in play.

 

Italy were much better than i expected, could be a very tough game "if" we do have to face them at some point.
