Ah. Despite it's watery taste, typical US made beer of the Bud/Miller/Coors mullet head drinker and American capitalistic colonialism export variety is not low on alcohol...at least the dipshits got that right. Average is 5%-5.5% alcohol. That said, I never drink the stuff. I usually have something English and delicious or the all time standard for me which is Guinness. Incidentally, the Guinness we get here is about 4.2% alcohol. I do best with the stuff, to be honest.

I hurt myself with a German fortified beer of some kind last week. The next morning, I looked at the label and found it was 9.4% with 18 or so ounce bottles and I had three. Ow.
