Unless Bassini/Bazini's rich and successful relatives cough up, or Villa sell Ashley Young.

So yes, enjoy DG while you can.

"The period of time from 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2010 has seen some genuine stability at Board and operational leadership levels at our principal operating subsidiary, The Watford Association Football Club Limited (“the Club), both on and off the field of play."

Well, we're putting a stop to that!

But reading these depressing accounts, and having regard to the cost-cutting that's gone on, I have to wonder about the future of those clubs still living in cloud-cuckoo land. And it's not just Portsmouth ...

Will these accounts include the 365 day a year income from the key worker flats, or is that still to come?

Also, what about the potential sell on fee for Marlon King and the appearance money for Ashley Cole on Saturday?

I'm sure there is other places, such as the players lounge, bars etc.

All you need is x amount of plant pots, x amount of seeds, high powered lights on a timer and something to get rid of the smell.

    1 plant = 6 ounces
    50 plants = 300 ounces
    1 ounce = we'll say 250 (if we're selling it all together opposed to £10, £20 at a time)

    300 x £250 = £75k

oh, we need to think bigger...

People, new owners have promised to cover this shortfall of £3.5mill and therefore no need for a player sale at the moment. It will all depend on this time next year, but with players such as Ellington and Sadler off the wage bill, our losses will shrink.

Lets hope Ashley Young is sold in the summer then and we get a good sell on fee!

Good luck Malky on trying to keep the squad together.

Suppose we'll still get some fans saying "why aren't we spending.."

£3.5 mill only covers working capital needed to end of the financial year which is 30 June. What happens after that is a complete unknown and probably the major concern about the Bassini bid.

From what I have seen no mention has been made about SERIOUS funding going forward - hopefully there are other backers behind Bassini.

Because if they sell him on we will get 15% of any profit Villa make over and above what we sold him to them for

Less and less each transfer window as his contract tuns out in 2012. I would say about 15m if he goes this summer.

I'm not sure we earn anything extra anymore. Maybe that sell-on expired after a period of time?

Would be good if the club could confirm what the current status is. Anyway, even if we do earn anything do you think Bassini would allow it to go player purchases / wages - only time will tell.

The only income from this deal was the £6.m sale of the land, which was effectively (or rather ineffectively) blown on Mr Ellington.

Losing DG would be bad enough - but how long do you think Malky will give it once a serial runner of businesses into the ground, his Mum's best mate, a knee surgeon and a lawyer have shown what they can do? Especially if the demoted Julian Winter decides that he's be better off elsewhere.

my guess is the pub will be flogged off to " undisclosed bidders" for 100k to 200k -

with a back hander whoops i meant an invoiced commission fee acount to some scum canut running the club in the future.

All of the above seem to have had the knack of making money, if not necessarily for Watford - but Bassini/Bazini can't even make it for himself.

The 60 or so million for promotion will cover that.

I wonder what will happen to the likes of Cardiff if they fail to get up?
