Ticket App

I’ve got the same, case of left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, the ticket system really isn’t fit for purpose but no doubt we will have an update from the club saying how they have made great strides with the fantastic trouble free ticket system!

 

But what trouble does it it saying the wrong game cause? You have a season ticket, you walk up and get in. It’s hardly like a steward is going to tell you to piss off on Saturday because it’s Spurs not Palace.

I haven’t had one single problem getting in all season except when stuck behind clowns who appear to not know how to operate their own mobile phone. It’s fair to say they shouldn’t have forced everyone to switch, and @Gladiator is right that transferring a ticket shouldn’t be so difficult, but stuff like this is meaningless really.

I’ve also noticed a lot of the issues seem to be with those using Apple Wallet. Google Pay seems to work fine.

 

Apple wallet has worked fine for me. The biggest blocker has been people not knowing what to do, and stewards getting involved with those who do know what they are doing and slowing the process down. Having dedicated STH turnstiles would be a massive help as the majority of STH's will be familiar with what they need to do know and could enter the ground quickly.

 

My son will be using this for the first time this season, how long before the games do the tickets show?

 

Using it as a season ticket? If so mine from last season is showing as an ‘expired pass’ so doesn’t look like they’ve done the update for the new season yet.

 

Has anyone been able to download their season ticket yet? It isn't greyed out but when I try to download it there's an error.

 

I suppose its too early yet as there's still 10 days to go.

 

I did mine today - was greyed out prior to this morning. You need to make sure you're logged in to the correct account. I had to login 3 times into 3 separate ticket accounts in order to download mine and my kids tickets to my phone. You can only download the ticket linked to the account you're logged into.

 

Just tried mine on my Android phone and it seems to open a new page but appears to be a dead link as nothing happens. No prompt to open/push the ticket into Google Wallet.

 

The ticket (ST) for the first game has automatically loaded into the wallet on my iphone, as all the games did last season. However it doesn't say yet who the opposition are and it's telling me the kick-off is at midnight.

 

Working now. Maybe my earlier attempt coincided with some downtime.

Just downloaded our tickets and it’s the same. Guess details will auto update during the week.

My season ticket had not updated in my Apple wallet on the iPhone this morning (it was showing 1st August but no opponents or kick-off time) and I realised it seemed to be linking to my 2021/22 ST. So I logged onto WFC ticket hub and downloaded my 2022/23 ST. The ticket for the Sheff U game immediately appeared in the wallet but weirdly the existing one had also updated, so I had two duplicate passes. The old one is now deleted and all is well.

 

I seem to be in the same position. Moved seats this season and seem to have both my old seat and new seat in my wallet.

 

That means you can now hurl abuse from one seat and then scarper to the other one with no-one being the wiser.

 

My ticket updated today to the new seats and shows a ticket for monday nights game

 

I was planning to sneak through the turnstile twice and sit on my own lap.

 

I wonder if I booed from one seat and ran to the other I'd be able to catch the end of my last boo and boo on top.

Something tells me that'd be the sort of sh*t that'd potentially mess up the space time continuum and not sure we'd want that while losing 3-0 to Rotherham. Then again ...

 

Does the new season's app download automatically or do I have to faff around on the club website?

I logged on to my Watford account and not only my ST was there, which I downloaded but unbelievably so was my mate's who sits next to me! I haven't downloaded his and he says he already has his. I have no idea why that is.

 

That's obviously how they manage to claim 20k+ attendances despite rows of empty seats.

 

You must have him added to your Friends and Family on the personal details menu…?

 

That must be it. But surprised it wasn't the other way round as he was trying to organise us to move, although we didn't manage it, so he was lead.

 

Any non-ST holders unable to download their ticket for Monday? The download NFC ticket option is non-clickable for me.

 

Looked back through the thread to find someone got round this by distributing the ticket to themselves - worked for me too! Very odd system.
