There was an email sent out about individual tickets a couple of days ago. Must be info on website about it.

 

any idea how to send a NFC to somebody else's phone? My son can't get his ticket to his phone, it keeps getting added to my wallet (as well as my own ticket). We've updated email/phone etc but it still keeps coming to my phone???

 

Anyone struggling to buy tickets today? Everytime I click pay now it fails to go through (Yes I have money in my account) Trying to get tickets for Boro

If its the season ticket you're trying to download, your son needs to login to HIS ticketing account on HIS device. Only the season ticket attached to the logged in ticket account will be downloadable.

If its an individual match ticket, then I'm not sure.

 

I had the same issue with a QPR ticket, but it worked OK when I switched to using a VISA card instead. Someone else on facebook was having the same problem until they switched from Mastercard to VISA.

I also found there were very few tickets available near where I wanted to sit when I bought mine on the first day (Cat A), but the next night there were loads more available for Cat B.

The ticket office does seem to excel at making the task of selling to tickets as difficult as possible

 

Anyone know how my son can "lend" his season ticket to his friend or if that's even a thing? Son has IPhone, friend has android without NFC.

Edit: Ignore the above, ticket office sorted it and emailed the barcode to his mates email address.

 

I have just come on here to rant.

Our ticket system is probably the worst I have ever seen. You are forced to assign IDs, but cannot assign them on Iphones or on computers with certain firewalls, so I cannot buy tickets using my phone or work computer.

A day later I try on my laptop. Here I can assign IDs, but my payment keeps failing. However it is the only site I have seen in over a decade that doesn't tell you why. So one by one I have to go the different text boxes and experiment. Is it because my home address isn't updated on my online banking? No. Is it because the postcode needs a space in it? No. Is it because the autofill of my card details for some reason isn't working?

Oo, onto the next step of verifying the payment with my bank! Typed in the code on my online banking, go back to complete purchase. No, blocked again, with no explanation.

Ah. As my Dad (who is over 65) can't come with us this weekend, and I'm inviting my cousin who is a student, maybe I can't get tickets for a student with an O65 member. Changed it to an O65 ticket to test. Nope.

Maybe it is my card. I use Amex everywhere, and it registers when I enter the card details that my card is Amex without telling me there is a problem, but I try my Mastercard credit card. Nope.

Dig around the house. Get my wife's Visa debit. Nope.

WHAT IS GOING ON, YOU TERRIBLE SYSTEM.

And before someone mentions it, I point blank refuse to call them. I have a hatred of outdated technology, and I will not call, fax, SMS, morse code or page a club to do something that a start up £100 website could do. I'd rather not go to the game and save the hundred-odd quid.

 

I use Carrier pigeon for not just contacting the ticket office but also my rants when matches are not going well. Expect to see one flying toward the directors box if we concede against Reading

 

Glad you are sorted, but worth being aware that a screen grab of the QR code works sufficiently as well.

 

Anyone else’s season ticket updated to Norwich game on 15th October???

 

It’s seriously not worth stressing about. If you have a season ticket loaded on there it’s active for every game, regardless of whatever nonsense it spouts on the screen.

 

So no need to worry that it’s showing Charlton 19 August 2023 then.
