Seems the home crowd reaction of booing subs and at full time on Saturday was unusual by their recent standards. Someone suggested because they've moved on most of the cult heroes from their squad, and a lot of the newer players have come in with big price tags and expectations, there won't be as much patience as 19/20. Could turn toxic there quite quickly if they can't get into the relegation fight pronto.

Tbf even if they still had their cult heroes, there's only so much you can take of getting beat game in game out, especially when you experienced the same thing two seasons ago

It wasn't soft - it was incorrect.

Not really sure what Farke is thinking. They've still got players than are suited to dominating the ball and passing through teams even though they'll never be able to do that. They have no place in team at all but also lack physicality. How he thought the midget Billy Gilmour was the playmaker they needed is beyond me. They are soft, slow and won't have much of the ball.

There was a time when I thought Billy Gilmour could do a job for us - bullet dodged, the Budgie fans hate him after 5 games and want him to be sent back to Chelski

Would have been good in the Championship for either of us I feel, but he probably needs top flight football. Why Chelsea didn't loan him out abroad I don't know, a less frantic intense style of football you'd think would suit him better now

I would of said the Politics section but that's gone now. General Football and Other Sport seems a good fit.

November ones were late but announced yesterday. And it does say 'provisional date' at the top.

What's the point is having the WFC fixtures synced to your calendar when they don't update when a change happens.:mad:

I think their fans are probably similar to some of ours in that they expect young lads to come in and take the world by storm, and then "write them off" after a few poor performances and then jump on their back looking for a scapegoat.

I had to delete it and re-sync to get it to work.
Thanks you letting me know it was updating so I could fix mine.

Especially away. The reminder should be for the referees not to give in to it so often.

Last week when Norwich were on the ropes against us midway through the first half one of their players went down (Aarons I think) and belatedly held his head to force play to stop. It was clearly a non-injury. And then while he was getting treatment both teams went over the touch line and had team talks, tactical instruction etc. And lo and behold, Norwich seemed to have a slightly different shape after the restart, Josh Sargent started cutting out our cross field passes and they equalised soon afterwards. I’d like to see the PL outlaw that somehow (impromptu team talks, rather than goals against Watford, though both work I guess…)

    Quote from article.
"There are fears that they have taken it to a new level under Frank and that it could cause hostile reactions from partisan crowds, particularly when they are away from home."

Translation. It would upset the fans of big clubs who have turned up to watch their team roll over guff like Brentford (or us).

Quicker they **** off to the super league the better.

Ridiculous, no doubt it’s frustrating when you’re on the end of it but every club does it. I mean it’s not as if scoring goals against the opposition isn’t enough to potentially wind up a particularly ‘partisan’ crowd is it? So shall we ban those?

If they’re that worried about it make it like the NFL, reduce each half to 30 minutes but stop the clock every time the ball goes dead.

Quite. Sala, Kane & Son are three of the worst offenders in the league IMO.

Goes along with Klopp and OGS complaining the refs were letting their players be tackled too hard although it was ok when Pogba went in on Neves the other week.

These big boys want their own way .

Chelsea looked okay today, still think they can win it this year.

Manure lose at home to Villa? Didn't see that one coming. Funny though. :D

Sounds a bit like the smash-and-grab raid Burnley did to them two seasons ago.
