    Little know facts about Perica. He was only 18 months old when Troy Deeney made his first appearance for the Horns and his favourite round, toffee-filled, chocolate soft centres are Rolos. I don't know if anyone else has any facts about him.

    I would think that this being permanent rather than a loan would imply they expect further Udinese loans (or at least a few more loans generally).

    I doubt he ‘will’ be off.

    But there may come a time when by hook or by crook, squad numbers will need to be trimmed and we may have to start entertaining losing players we want to keep but have takers for - as opposed to those we want to lose but have no one willing to take.

    It’s all very well saying lose him, him and him. But people have to take them. We have too many strikers and need to get at least 2 off the books, maybe even 3.

    Birmingham aren’t in the PL. And he’s a PL Striker! He told us himself!

    I doubt we let him go elsewhere in the league. It’ll be lower end PL or nothing I think. Or a random move to Turkey or something for a year - but with a young family, not sure he’d accept that.

    I still think MLS is the perfect move for him in every way. Said before, he should get Elton to put a word in with Becks and get him over to Inter Miami. They could afford it, he’d do well there and he’s got a mouth big enough to promote the club on a wide scale.

    Given he's likely being brought in to be fourth choice (behind Suarez, Gray and Murray) I assume it's because he'll be surplus to requirements if we get promoted, and if we don't then he'll at least be here as a cheap option when we have to sell Suarez, Murray's loan ends and we try desperately to offload Gray for wages.

    Also, if there is no fee there isn't any need to spread the cost of a transfer over the course of his contract.
