Perica is a 6' 4" Coatian centre-forward currently at Udinese.

The 25-year old would come here on a 1-year loan deal.

CROAT STRENGTHENS ENGLISH FIRST LEAGUE! HE LEFT OUR BEAUTIFUL AGE AT THE AGE OF 18 AND FINALLY GETS THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITY

Perica is already on her way to England and if she passes the medical examination, she will sign a one-year loan

Stipe Perica, a former member of the Croatian U-21 national team, should play in the attack of English Watford next season. Perica is still a Udinese player, and after he has finished on loan at Mouscron in Belgium, his new destination is likely to be his new member of the Championship.

According to our information, Perica is already on her way to England and if she passes the medical examination, she will sign a one-year loan with Watford.

It is known that Udinese and Watford are in a partnership, and the Croatian striker was obviously looking for a new challenge, and he will try to bring him back to the Premiership with Watford, from which the club from the suburbs of London dropped out this season.

Today, 25-year-old Perica had an interesting football career. He left his native Zadar early, at the age of 18, in a transfer to Chelsea worth 2.5 million pounds. However, he did not make his debut for the London club. Chelsea sent him to Breda for training, and two years later he ended up on a new loan at Udinese.

The Italian club bought his contract in 2016, after which he had to go on loan again, first to Frosinone and then to Turkish Kasimpasa.

Isn't it more politically correct to use 'they' now rather than he and she interchangeably?

Apparently he bonded with Sema over their love for radio stations.

Stipe would often ask, 'what's the frequency Kenneth?' when a new one had been found.

Sounds great. Sorry I mean cheap.
Lots of shiny happy people laughing ?
36 career goals at the age of 25 across the leagues of Turkey, Croatia and Belgium, and inc 10 in 69 in Italy.

Maybe she's signing for the Ladies team?

This would be such an uninspiring signing. It really would.

Couldn't find anything too recent in footage, although this goal against Juventus gets my thumbs up.

However, he seems to be one who was all about potential when he was young, but since then has gone backwards in his career. Going to a slightly worse standard of football in every move and has been moved a lot in his career.

Doesn't look like a player we should get too excited about. Probably would only be a backup option, behind Deeney, Welbeck or Success whoever remains at the club (Success).

A highly touted youngster at a big club who didn't quite make it? Check
A series of unconvincing loans to tinpot teams in awful leagues? Check

Fits the bill, sign him up!

A la Sierralta, uninspiring for sure, but as back up, he doesn't sound too bad. Does this mean that at least one of our strikers could be on the way out then?

Would be a good striking partner for Gray. His Whoscored ratings are even lower and this may make Andre feel a bit better.

Had a decent scoring frequency last season in the Pro League (goal every 127 mins) which is probably a similar level to the Championship. As a third choice striker option behind Suarez and Gray (assuming Deeney and Welbeck leave) he offers something different and is basically risk-free on a loan. I'm all for it.

Yes you can never have too many utterly unispiring **** back up players.
The good thing is they're also much, much cheaper than decent players who'd actually get to play in the first team and influence results.

I agree with this. His spell in Belgium seemed alright and he's a bit of unit. If he's a replacement for Deeney as our "lump" CF option then I'd be fine with that and he'd probably offer more from open play than Troy.

Here's a couple of goals of his from Belgium last year, at 5:20 and 7:20 -

Shame we can't seem to get the Troost-Ekong loan wrapped up as quickly.

As a side-note, Perica has the same agent as Ivic (and Kabasele).

Geijo was more of a 'good feet for a big man' surprisingly technical target man in the Rasiak mould

This guy just looks like a big, unwieldy lump - hence the Ranegie comparison

Yes scored 7 of the 19 goals he's scored since 2015 in the Belgian league last season. Looks like a real find. Presume Barca or MU were interested so we had to move quickly ?

    But this guy looks sh*te.

Would much rather we play Success as opposed to bringing in this obvious piece of Udinese cannon fodder.

Interesting one, never particularly shone anywhere.

I don’t really know how Ivic lines his teams up, but is a lump of a centre forward required?

  32. Carpster

Have to agree. Looks like a typical squad filler. On the odd occasion we saw Success I believe he can be more than capable. He was excellent in the cup game against Spurs I believe, centrally. But he is currently injured.

All I can see is a different option from the bench if we're chasing the game.

Yer that’s what it looks like to me. Maybe he will score 20 by Christmas and we will all have to eat our words.

    Feels a bit like a ranegie/geijo situation.
