He was a particularly smug billy bunter after the Burnley game if I recall. I’m also not going to hunt through a year of posts but along the lines of “I’ve tried again and again to explain to people how piddly this league is”.

And that’s before we get to the “best team in championship history” fiasco! I’m going to fear for the poor chap when we spinelessly dribble into the bottom half.

You jumped on a comment which didn't name you and now you're pretending you didn't say 'our squad is more than good enough to get promoted from this rubbish division' or words to that effect, several times. You are also pretending you haven't at times specifically defended the named players as "good enough for this level."

You could just admit you were wrong. Would be easier than this pointless back and forth.

I stand by that the squad was good enough to get promoted. And that the standard of this league is poor. You don't have to agree with either of those viewpoints.

I've praised Cathcart this season. I've criticised Kabasele frequently and said Cleverley's legs are gone. Not once did I, or anyone, say they're all too good for this division. But of course you know that, really.

Yes, I too am shocked that a team's fortunes were negatively impacted by losing their best defender/midfielder/two attackers permanently/for significant periods. It's a real head-scratcher, honestly.

I’m not digging through your endless volumes of posts from the summer. You know what your sentiment was. You continually reposting something you wrote in January by which point you were in full reverse is rather transparent.

I know my view of your credibility. Others will have their own views.

 

Samir was rubbish, amazing revisionism that he was the key to promotion, he certainly wasn’t anywhere near the key to survival was he. Another cracking example of players we don’t have or are out of action miraculously getting better.

The other amazing thing is that Edwards was apparently out of his depth, but Samir’s cultured left foot was apparently vital because he could play in a 3, you couldn’t make that sort of nonsense up.

Umm no. Try reading. That’s not what I’m saying. My last post on the matter. I‘ve made my thoughts on you pretty clear.

 

Try being a big boy and argue the points yourself. You can make childish digs all you want, but it says a lot that you needed to make up a very strange lie to point-score.

I disagree. On paper to me that looks like a side that will struggle to get top 10 and is a couple of injuries away from potentially doing a lot, lot worse than that.
