The box-set of this has for months been stubbonly stuck at £50 in HMV. I don't know how long I can hold out before I buy it at this price.

big fat gypsy weddings has just come on over here... i cant turn away from it. Those pikeys are amazing, and quite a few of the girls are pretty fit but i can barely understand a word they say.

i'm watching that too. its by the guy who wrote most of the shield so i had high expectations but i feel a lot of the characters are inconsistent (especially the doctor woman) in their actions and some of it plays out too cartoonish. still an entertaining watch though

I was just lent the collection. It was forced on me, but it seems interesting, though I need to find the time for it... I've been reading a lot lately and it is really cutting down on my Xbox and tv time.

Current favourite show is Wilfred on BBC Three with Elijah Wood, looked a bit strange but I think it's brilliant.

It's worth it, the humour is getting a little dated, but it really gets good around the 3rd series or so. If you can't face all of them then, get an idea of the characters by watching 1 from each of the series then watch my personal favourite, the first episode of Series 7 "Tikka to Ride" being a person of the US persuasion you'll enjoy that one.:sign15:

Started watching true blood lately. It's not bad, bit of a different take on the vampire craze. Lots of boobs as well.

Yep Series 10. Series 9 is to be skipped and was referenced in the Back to earth mini series that Dave produced. Just got the Blu ray from Amazon for a fiver. Bargain!

TBH when Rob grant left it didn't hit the spot for me, but no doubt I'll be watching it then getting the DVD, if nothing else to complete my set. Rumour has it there's no Holly which is a disappointment. If you've not done so I'd recommend that you read the books, less comedy, more sci-fi, but thoroughly engaging.

The first two series of 24 were fantastic , but after that it became so so, you knew the style.

I just bought series 1, is it appropriate to watch with my mum or will it be awkward?

I do love a bit of Larry David. Seinfeld is so funny also.

Just started watching The Pacific through for the second time. Enjoying it so far. Probably more so than the first time I watched it.
