    They have strong links with the gooner filth ('home' for the Ladies, u23 and "Play the Arsenal Way Soccer School") and Reading (their academy). The 'Wood are a very successful business. It's often joked that Danny Hunter (owner) is not that interested in promotion as it would interfere with the club's business interests.

    For those who watched the match yesterday, the loud voice giving the 'colourful' encouragement to the 'Wood is part of the set-up at Broughinge Road.

    Something I didn't know (mentioned by a commentator) is that the Wood were originally based the other side of the road in Eldon Avenue (moved in 1963). Does anyone know what they moved for: the studios or Canterbury house (B'wood's sole tower block)?
