Hello and welcome to Watson filler preview. I am recording this preview on my phone and getting my phone to transcribe it into text because I can't be bothered to write it out. I don't feel like the club deserve any more effort. So I might just release this transcript as it comes out on my phone with all the errors that are inevitably going to happen. (Edit I have). Yeah, I just don't care. I've lost a little bit of enthusiasm for the football club. Let's start with thinking of all the reasons that we might stay up. We might stay up in season leads get dogs 20 points for being leads. We might stay up if Newcastle get sweaty fires in addition have found that under 20 freeze for the rest of the season some fire fighters exhausted the reasons vary by state. Are we gonna win against Aston Villa? No. Are we going to concede more than two against Aston Villa? We're probably probably going to score against Aston Villa. Throughout it. The offence is still making mistakes. Roy has tightened us up as a unit but they're still making mistakes, leave a couple of Brighton players just unmarked, put the ball in there in exchange for looking solid but still making mistakes. We also look completely to for some attack. I think Roy might have got a formula to win games after 10 to 15 matches in charge of instilling these principles into the team. We're just not getting have time to turn the season around. I think very much we need to be looking for next season I hope the pot size are looking for who's gonna stay what sort of score we're looking at next season, going to be manager. The most exciting thing about all at the moment is there's always next year. I'm not going to watch the game on Saturday, because I'm at work and I suggest everybody does something else but it's time with a family goes does some decorating. Do some gardening. Fix your fence because it's blown down and when whatever's coming do something else. Instead of the football. ******* indicate you **** head ******* cyclists. Comic buffer with this game. Maybe if we win, we'll have a chance. Could we win? Can we actually win this game? Ishmael ourselves got a score couple of goals every game, we're not gonna win. We're just not gonna win. Sadly, I think Susan Good night. So we design or revoir to the Premier League. (Edit - guess what I said there for an NFT prize) If you are going to the game, why if you are watching the game why. I don't know what to say. I've had a lot to say about this game. I just there's no there's no optimism, if any.
I loved that. About as much effort as the players do. Personally I think we're going to go with the same setup again (learning nothing) defend fairly well until they eventually score before the heads drop and it's a case of keep the score down. My honest prediction is a 3-0 loss. Oh, and this is a @Keighley wet dream of grammar errors.
After the Brighton wounds heal I still feel like we could get back into it. But with Man Utd and Arsenal to come I think this is last chance saloon - 6 points required from Villa and Palace. How miserable it will be to see the teamsheet with 4 center mids yet again. Solid for 40 minutes, 1-0 down after defensive lapse. Chase game with subs. Lose 3-0. All over.
That preview reminds me of some of the things I read during my sleep - stuff that looks like English and (virtually) all the words in it are English, but while some of it sort of makes sense the rest is stream-of-consciousness gibberish.
Any of the teams we are going to play for the rest of this season (with the possible exception of Burnley) will fancy 3 points and a dominant win. Their fans will expect it and demand a big boost to their GD. Guess what? This suits us down to the ground. Let the opposition come at us and we set up to counter attack. No, it won't be pretty (it never is) but the 451 formation will quickly become 433 as we hit 'em on the break. We have some of the quickest wingers even in this league so why not? Goalkeeper: Ben Foster, no question (subject to YouTube demands) Back 4: Kiko, Cathcart, Samir, Kamara - really I would prefer Sierralta instead of Cathcart but Roy's not going to change the defence at the moment Middle 5: Sarr, Sissoko, Louza, Kayembe (Etebo when fit), Dennis - Sarr & Dennis have to track back on defensive duties but, yep it's a big BUT, they also need to be ready to race forward and catch the opposition out. 1 up top: Pedro or Fletcher or Cucho or King - for me, it's Pedro with clear instructions he's there to get into the penalty box and score goals. If he beats a man or several men, it must be where it hurts the opposition, not in midfield or wide running down blind alleys. You've guessed it, I'm going to Villa, hopelessly optimistic, but I can't help it, I can't pretend I don't care because I do. I'm realistic too but as ever I live in hope, COYH!
I'm probably gonna end up looking like a complete d1ck but I genuinely think we have a chance in this match....
A quick blast up M40 in a blizzard, leave car in inner city Channel 4 unemployment/drugs documentary estate, watch Watford get gubbed, back down the M40 and home in time for the Masked Singer. Can't wait
Any chance we can get Deeney back for one game? He generally plays well against Villa for obvious reasons.
Ahhhh remember the home game? First game of the season back in the Premier League. Crowds back after the horrors of the pandemic. And a win and 3 goals for Watford. How I wish the season had ended there and then. Prediction Aston Villa 4-5 Watford Coutinho (23, 36, 45+1, 68); Sarr (72, 78, 85, 90+1), Foster (90+6) Another forgettable afternoon.
Some easy money to be made here with a very comfortable Villa victory and a Coutinho goal and assist. Up the Villa!
Bachman Feminia Cathcart Troost-Ekong Masina Kucka Sissoko Gosling Cleverley Fletcher Kalu Just kidding. Sema over Kalu
Foster Femenia Cathcart Samir Kamara Sissoko Louza(although probably Kayembe) Kucka/Cleverley Sarr Pedro Dennis I have some slight hope that he'll start Pedro. the rest not so much. But he'll now have had a week to work with Louza and Sarr, so hopefully his confidence in them allows them to start. There's been nothing new I've seen on Etebo. His return to fitness and form would be a godsend. Kucka and Cleverley together at the start of a PL match just can never happen again. They have a place.. but 90 minutes in the PL isn't it. Please Roy, just give us at least 8-9 outfield players that can run.... The 6 you've been trotting out there aren't enough.
If only Luther was WFC head of communications. Honesty, humility and integrity personified. How we miss these type of people at the club. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19932505.luther-blissett-wants-watford-strikers-play-unit/
Foster Kiko Cathcart Samir Kamara Kucka Sissoko Louza Cleverley Sarr Dennis Bachmann, Ngakia, Kabasele, Masina, Kayembe, Sema, Cucho, JP, King. Villa 3 - 0 Watford 'Orns!
do other people do that as well? In that hypnopompic hinterland between sleep and wake try to read what is written in your sleep. Always nonsense usually enough to break the spell and wake you up. Like realising life is a bad simulation with lo res and your brain can’t outwit your brain and write something coherent.
Pretty much. REM - the period of time that you dream (your eyes open and close very fast, Rapid Eye Movement) - it takes a little while for your dream-like-state to completely dissipate. Hence you can still "see" the images of that dream for a few seconds. When you try to determine what it is, your brain is like "....lol, this dude..."
