    “Free agent Ashley Young has agreed to join Everton and is scheduled to have a medical on Tuesday after leaving Aston Villa this summer.

    Young's contract at Villa Park expired and BBC Sport understands he held talks with Luton, while there was also interest from Saudi Arabia”

    Mind you not sure Everton fans will be too chuffed with signing someone in their late 30a.

    Second home game is off:

    Home nearest the tunnel has lost the batteries to the Sky remote so the VAR department cannot rewind the footage on Sky+. Rumor has it they have been stuffed down the side of the sofa, but there are no Hazmat suits available to enter the property safety.

    I work with these shysters every day. They agree contracts but never fulfil them. Whole thing is going to collapse within 6-12 months.

    Most sportspeople, like actors talk the talk but never walk the walk. Wrapped up in their own bubbles and greed. All they care about is how much more money they can make even though they have millions in their bank accounts. Just look at the Paradise Papers. A bunch of hypocrites generally.

    Actors striking when they earn fortunes from films or syndicated series beggars belief.

    It seems to me that the Saudi money is an easy way for some clubs to sell off ageing or unwanted players for loadsamoney and circumnavigate the FFP rules .

    I'm starting to worry that Luton might just inch over the line and stay up this year. Wolves in crisis, West Ham not signing anyone, Palace the same, Everton looking clueless, Sheffield united selling their two best players and not making any good signings, Fulham having their star striker tapped up by Saudi. The PL looks as weak as it has done for years.
