Yes, I submitted all the questions I listed and applied to go. All fell on deaf ears. I must admit, I would have thought loads of others would have asked those questions too, out of 1,400. Can’t believe these weren’t asked about.

Can anybody help me decipher this? I’m not sure I’ve ever read so many contradictory statements in one paragraph:

Ok, the club he owns should hold a minimum of two meetings a season where one or all of the owner, a board member or executive is present, which they have failed to do until tonight. In fact, the only reason they have done so tonight is because they were publicly shamed into doing so and even then they outsourced the organisation of the event to the supporters.

 

Not good enough - LeedsOrn wants the club given credit for abdicating their responsibilities and chucking it on the fans.

Staggered by the claims over the debt. No way to prove it one way or the other right now. It might well be a “mistakes were made” admission at some point in the future.

I don’t disagree with that. But many on here insisted that Gino would cancel or be ill or something. He didn’t. He showed up and answered all questions. It’s the most we’ve heard from him and he’s heard from us in 11 years.

 

Maybe some of it could be put down to French's typing? Let's see if the precise transcript is a bit less scrambled when it's released.

Those questions I would have thought would be of high interest.

I don't feel they really admitted to many/any mistakes. More that they were let down by bad managers that weren't their fault for being appointed.

 

So to summarise, Noithings changing. Only other point of note is we will have no external debt in a years time.

 

I questioned if it might have been hindered by the difficult process of transcribing live a person's speech. Calm down.

 

It will always be the same thing with the debt situation, they have the upper hand because the accounts will always cover a period up to 18 months ago. They can always call the most recent filled accounts just a snapshot in time, say what they want now, and by the time the next set of accounts come out they cycle repeats.

They also have the benefit of being able to blame any changes on things that happened after they said it.

 

I see they ducked the question asked about whether or not there will be a family day this year. Utter ba5tards
