I’m sure in years gone by you weren’t allowed to break your run up when taking a penalty the way they do now!
Slowed it right down, Grease Ball's finger tips barely touched it and to be fair it wasn't intentional. Well taken penalty but very harsh, even it was against Citee. Oh, and that is the slowest VAR check ever.
Not a bad final, Utd so close to leveling as well near the end. Could of been a lot more goals but some very good defending at times.
All these titles bought with money and by breaking the rules. What a wonderful plastic club. What a wonderful bald fraud of a manager. Forza Internazionale.
Financialy yes it is not great but the bald fraud as you call him is just not right. he improves players on a very consistent basis which is what you want from a coach. Yes he’s always at big clubs but that’s because he’s a very good coach. I hate the money side but just look how much better Stones, Waker, Grealish and Foden are.
On the balance of play today City should have won by about three goals and that against arguably the country’s biggest club, who finished 3rd this season. I wonder if the football authorities would do something about the financial imbalance in the game if it got to the stage where City not only won all the trophies but also every single game in a season?
ideally that was the point of the Super League. I was one of the few in support of it. Get rid of all the Super rich clubs in the PL and it will be a much more even playing field. Yes I do understand the PL will lose a lot of it's appeal, and there is nothing suggesting another smaller side can get loads of investment and become a mega power. You do get some surprise packages (Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton) but it's always going to be City, Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal in no particular order. Money rules this game, and if you haven't got it, you will continue to suffer and will stand absolutely no chance of ever winning the top English division. But, I love the side I support, despite it's recent failings. I would rather see us fight and battle in a division that is level on most fronts than attempt to challenge the super powers of football who bury smaller sides with imense wealth. But at least us "smaller fish" are not full of plastic fans.
The great thing about England is that nothing lasts forever whereas Barca Real Bayern Celtic Ajax Rangers etc etc always win or come 2cnd . Man C Man U Arse Spuds Leicester Leeds Newcastle Liverpool Chelsea Blackburn all have been champions\top 4 in recent memory . Throw in Villa Forest Ipswich Everton in not so recent memory then our top league is most diverse in Europe
Quite rightly this guy has been caught and no doubt in some trouble. https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1665008634152009728 This sort of thing goes beyond rivalry banter .
My point was that this was our very biggest mega-rich club being close to dominated out of the game by City. Up to now we have ‘enjoyed’ at least a small group of rich clubs being able to compete with each other, even if the rest of us have been excluded from the top table. But now it’s getting closer to even those other rich clubs being dominated by just one.
It’s easy to think that but it’s getting less and less so. At one time it was thought impossible in modern football for a team to do the League and Cup double. Finally an outstanding Spurs team did it in 1961, but even when I was a boy 10 years later it was still thought amazing when Arsenal did it. It was another 15 years before the great Rush/Dalglish Liverpool team did it, but since the PL was formed it has been done another 8 times by Man U (3), Man City (2), Arsenal (2) and Chelsea. It’s getting impossible for anyone else to get a look in, no matter how well managed they are. Compare the chances of Brighton now doing what Forest did under Brian Clough. Forget it.
Ah who cares about this Mickey Mouse competition these days. I mean when we last got to the final we even fielded our reserve keeper because he was such a good bloke.

As if a season couldn’t get any worse, now our former owner and lifelong fan cavorting with the team that handed us the record fa cup final defeat, FFS.
Maybe it's because I hate scousers, but I cannot see why this is an arrestable offence. Sure, it's bad taste, gallows humour or whatever, but an arrestable crime, when shoplifters don't even get arrested.
Some sort of public order offence apparently but doubt much more will happen to him . Suspect the reaction has meant the police had to do something.
