I'm not sure about Britt. He doesn't seem fit. He's had his payday I suppose and is looking beyond to whatever he may do within football or outside of it. Tobi on the other hand I expect wants to make a name for himself, carve out a career whether it be here hopefully or elsewhere and find some financial security for as much as we bang on about the obscene wages at the top level many footballers below will still have to work for a living after they retire. I'd have preferred it that we had not even signed Britt. Save the money and allow the likes of Adeyemo and Poku playing time. It's a horrible mess we are in HD and it will need bold leadership to get us out of it plus some finance. Supporters can play their part with protests outside the ground if they are not allowed to do so inside which is a farce in itself.
Fingers crossed for next season Cyan. I really do think we'll struggle to win another game. Several players have their eyes on moves away. Several others cannot be bothered. Several others are over the hill and content to see a last payday.
He does. But a model professional always tries to keep themselves in shape. The TSL is not as demanding but still we have far too many players that we sign who come here unfit or are injury prone. We never seem to do due diligence on the whole player.
If Don Goodman thought we were bad the last time we played away to Coventry, he's going to have a heart attack at how bad we're gonna be tomorrow...
She was lovely. Still is. Aussie by birth. Formed quite an impression on a young boy. Lovely voice and great band. Saw her and Paul Court at their gig in St.Albans a couple of years ago. Probably their biggest hit. My favourite:
Cute, but no Clare Grogan. I walked past her once in Covent Garden, she was wearing tight leather trousers. Happy birthday indeed.
You naughty boy ! They're both pixie like. Binoche like. She's also very cute. I remember her more for the Father Ted episode.
Have I stumbled across the NME here?! Just heard one of our team mate's partner died last night playing squash at Hazelwood. They worked for an hour trying to revive him and paramedics were there within ten minutes. To no avail. Lord Balfour springs to mind " Nothing matters very much and most things don't matter at all". RIP Ian. Players who are moving away or happy to see our your time poncing about until that day, buck up and remember why you started playing the game. Unforgivable attitude stinking out our beloved club. Cut it out,cut it all out. Top to bottom. COYH!
Badger baiting probably. I tried it once but turns out it's very difficult to cast, didn't even get it in the water.
Don't even talk to me about **** fighting. Went to an underground bout in Mexico and the slapping sound still haunts me.
I tend to think that changing my own pre-match rituals will always create a position where I upset the footballing gods to the extent that a Orns defeat becomes inevitable and I have to adopt the Wider approach: blame me for that result not the players, it's my responsibility. Well following the s***show that was Good Friday, I have taken a drastic step and chosen to spend all morning removing ceiling paper with the inevitable result meaning boiling drips of water constantly landing painfully on my bald, soggy pate. I felt that experiencing this form of torture should be enough to let the gods know that I'm serious about showing empathy with today's 11+ mercenaries representing SW Herts. I confidently predict that the gods will answer this approach with a hard-working skilful Watford side dancing through the rain to bring home 3 precious points from the Ricoh as sure as victory follows s***show. Do your worst Gyokeres at your peril, the gods will reward me today! Sing BJ, sing!!
I had a serious girl crush on here growing up in the late 1980's. She also played a minor character in one of my fave shows of all time, Red Dwarf.... Seriously attractive woman.
Interesting line-up. Back 5 ditched and a kid in at right back. What a waste of money Okoye has proven to be. Fourth choice!
Has Wilder: A) been reading this forum B) ignored the owner for the good of the club C) thrown a hissy fit?
For me it's the Ben Hamer show today. Asprilla scores his first goal last week and cannot get into the side this week. Araujo still has to wait behind Assombalonga.... Andrews is an interesting pick, good to see at least some youth given a chance.
