Oh look, we've got Mike Dean for one last time: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...e-Chelseas-clash-Watford-Stamford-Bridge.html
It looks like Woy is intent on ruining Cucho as one last '**** you' to the club before leaving: https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/20154169.cucho-hernandez-feature-watford-chelsea/
What do doctors know anyway. If Roy says he's fine, he's fine. Just like losing to Palace and getting relegated equates to being "doubly pleased".
In all seriousness, after we were humiliated at home to Leeds I predicted 36 points would be needed to stay up which obviously would require some miraculous turnaround in form and performances - it now looks like that wouldn't have been enough thanks to our goal difference. But it's funny how the fortunes of teams in football can change, at the time Burnley were still looking likely to join us especially after they lost to Norwich the next day, and thanks to their recent form I discounted Leeds from the relegation battle entirely (I couldn't have been more mistaken).
Burnley have their own fate in their own hands. They win and it doesn't matter what Leeds do. I actually think that point at Villa last night has saved them. Leeds look down and out especially with their past performances despite scrapping for a point against Brighton. Sunday is the exact game we bottle - so thank god we are not where Burnley are right now... you can just imagine the melt down on here if we went down on the final day in more dramatic circumstances than last time.
It could be an interesting game if true in that it could be useful for us in identifying if they have anyone worth us taking on loan next season.
Trouble these days anyone from those super 6 clubs worth taking on loan either go to European clubs or premier league clubs for the season. The ones we could probably borrow are no way near the first team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This could be a silly score with these lot putting on a cameo for departing players and last home game etc. Hope old Roy plays a few youngsters as they’ll have more fight in them than the dross that’s left playing protecting those mercenaries sat in the stands. Might be the last time we ever play one of the big 4 in a league match. One to savour and drink in the atmosphere of the premier league at its glorious best.
Would be a nice touch if our so-called players were to put a few quid behind the bar at Stamford Bridge today so all those daft enough to be going can get anaesthetised before sitting through another 90 minutes of their hopeless bungling
Another record could be broken today (I think). If we lose by 3 or more goals it'll be the most goals we've ever conceded in a top flight season. You orrrnnssss
Foster misses out with a slight elbow injury. Believed to have happened last weekend while picking the ball out of the net so regularly.
OMG! That is a very grim line up for Watford. 5-0 Chelsea and in the second half ??? You think that this line up can cut it in the Championship? No way.. What a poor team we are.
It was a joke. Because Hodgson made pretty much no changes in any of the previous matches. This lineup, is of course far from interesting.
The only thing that'll stop us from getting a fearful beating is that Chelsea have a somewhat experimental lineup too
Bachmann planted to his line like an Oak tree. No coming out even if the ball is in the air within the 6 yd box. He stated in January that he wanted to leave. Now the turncoat wants to stay as Foster is leaving. Bachmann should go Both Bachmann and Okoye are keepers that like to stay on their line and both are poor with crosses.
Apart from Sema, that line-up is alright by our pretty low standards. I’d like to presume by “cut it” you mean be in the promotion frame?
