Kamara was clearly the only one trying and the only person on the pitch I’d like to see stay next season.
And he's ******* crap as well. How many costly, brainless mistakes has he made in the last few games alone? There's a reason he only cost £3 million and even our awful recruitment team turned their nose up at him in the summer and signed an obese weirdo instead.
Yes another vintage performance from Mr Kamara today. He may average a critical mistake every second game but he does it all with a smile on his face Give him the armband next season
Seems like our fans can’t win with some people. If they cheer the team on, they’re pathetic happy clappers. If they acknowledge how crap we are with self deprecating chants, they’re slagged off too…
Even if we had been relegated last week (which, as you point out, we weren’t) that’s still not the point. Not sure why he doesn’t get it.
I don't agree with opening sentence. The players deserved far more criticism than the Watford fans gave them. The players are/were clearly not good enough for the Premier league. They will be clapped off at home, go on their summer holidays and not care one bit. 99% of the Watford fans knew we would be relegated. The Owner/ Chairman knew we would be relegated. Ranieri/Hodgson knew we would be relegated and the players knew they would be relegated. We have been an utter embarrassment at Premier league level. The wilderness of the Championship is possible with such a weak squad. The fans will still support Watford FC in name, but their confidence and faith in the Owner/Chairman/Players has been shaken to the core. Unless there is a fast start next season, the crowds will dwindle and we will be known as yet another club with massive debts and blew their chance in the Premier league. All this swapped for mediocre football and a mid table finish at best in the Championship. On a brighter note. FC Annecy (30km from La Clusaz) are one win from Promotion to Ligue 2. Last time in Ligue 2 was 1992/3. At home to Sedan on Friday evening. Hopefully something to celebrate at the Parc des Sports.
Yep, because we don’t need that. We need toxicity. As much of it as possible. Vitriol. Anger. Not jokes for social media.
Apparently he didn’t think it mattered as he thought we went down week. I get it if we were just chasing Burnley who are GD -17 and Watford -37, but we were just 3 goals behind Leeds. Makes me think he was totally unaware of Leeds.
I just feel relieved now . We are relegated. That’s it , done and dusted . The last 3 games are utterly irrelevant ( but would still be nice to get a win ir 2) It’s been an utterly miserable season but I’m looking forward to moving on and seeing what is done over the Summer to leave us with a squad and manager capable of challenging for promotion .
Like everyone I'm pretty down at the moment, the last thing I needed was to read this quote from Ben Foster on the BBC after the match. Foster blamed Watford's downfall on poor home form and inconsistency. "You just don't really know what you're going to get from us, to be perfectly honest," the 39-year-old said. "We've got too many players who are happy to put it in for an hour, 70 minutes, but then probably fall off and happily let it go in the last 20 minutes. "You can't have that. When you're a team like us, the minimum is giving it everything you've got. The ability you can forego a little bit and accept that you might not have the quality of some players, but you've got to put the effort in." "Roy's been fantastic," he said. "He came in and got a group of lads who were a bunch of misfits, to be perfectly honest, and got us playing a style where we know we're all on the same page at least.”
Foster is an idiot as well. And what style of play did Roy get us playing? Being sh*t in defence and even worse in attack. Apart from 2 or 3 games we looked completely clueless in both attack and defence.
Will be interesting to see what reception Hodgson gets after his display at the end of the match today.
If I didn't have a match I would break my boycott to let him know what I think. He's not the main problem,we all accept that. However he's peed all over the club, its fans and just resigned himself to picking up his cash. I hope he gets the vitriol he deserves. When he's gone the Dangerous Brothers can platitude and witter their way through this absolute **** show like the low rent politicians they are.
If he does get a bit of abuse, which he has brought on himself after today’s antics, he’ll make out he’s the victim. “ I don’t know what I’m doing here” nor do we Roy, nor do we.
The cheek of that clown to question anybody else's commitment or professionalism. Just the five relegations in his career now - three of them with us.
If he wanted to acknowledge the Palace fans, he should have done so before the match started, when the teams came onto the field. If he wanted to catch up with players and staff at Palace, he should have done so in private. I just don’t get how any manager would think it appropriate to do all these things immediately after their own team had just been relegated. The impact of that is all that should have mattered to him at the end of the match. It’s not bloody rocket science.
He's been a consistent disgrace in his approach to his role with us. As others have said, worst appointment since Bassett.
Does it irrationally annoy everyone else that as soon as the game is over even if we've lost half of our tone-deaf players are straight on instagram sharing stuff from the game?
Genuinely disgusted by this, couldn't believe what I was seeing/hearing. We've gone done with a whimper.
Aidy, with a dog**** side, star striker King crocked all season and Ashley Young sold in January... 28 points. This current crop are an absolute disgrace to the shirt.
Ken has just tweeted this, the players literally don't care do they. I expect we'll get some from Kamara and Louza in the week about roaring like lions or whatever boll0cks they come out with.
I think he has insulted all those that went today. I really hope these owners act and send him on his way now. I don’t care if they wrap it all up in niceties (mutual agreement etc) I really don’t want him there Wednesday
99/00 -GT with basically Nationwide Division Two squad - 24 points. More heart into games, passion, knew they weren't good enough but they tried, got battered most weeks but dusted themselves down and came again. This side is light years behind that squad. And they beat Liverpool at Anfield, Chelsea at home, and even got a win on the final day.
