That could of been a second string side - but still losing at home to the reptile seems pretty dirty.
Kalu was not called up for the Nigerian qualifiers and could be seen in and around the myriad clips of players shooting into empty nets from 3 yards the club Twitter put out over the period, so this suggestion does not compute.
Clearly a second string side, I doubt there were many starters playing. Probably something like: Foster Kiko Kabasele Samir Ngakia Sissoko Kucka Cleverley Cucho JP Sema/Kalu So as I say, barely any starters for us.
Been quite enjoyable being a fan whilst theres been no games for a bit. Liverpool 1-2 Watford Pedro and Cathcart
This season really does feel like the weirdest thing ever, doesn't it? Even putting aside all the losses and chaos and embarrassing mistakes/performances/punditry/fan costumes, the way postponements and the like have fallen with us in particular, it doesn't really have the feeling of one linear season, or even competition in any form, at all. We just have these odd bursts of (mostly) shame, with the far odder-still sprinkling of momentary hope/joy/euphoria, interspersed with perennial periods of hibernation. Very disconcerting.
I thought the forum rule was that not too much should be read into friendly results. Or is that just pre-season friendlies, or when it fits nicely into the anti-Gino agenda? I'm confused.com.
Alexander-Arnold has made a miraculous recovery (quelle surprise) and is in contention for our game. Rotten tactics by Klopp but not surprised.
Last time we played Liverpool Nath put a picture of traffic cones as an image for our team in defense. Might be worth doing that on Saturday, eases the personal pain a bit of our rag-tag back line with the YouTube star.
I see Liverpool are 1-10 on. That suggests the bookies only think Liverpool are 90% likely to win? Baffling
Really just looking forward to getting this match over and done with. It's been hanging over me like a trip to the dentist.
Sorted; Foster; Ngakia, Cathcart, NKoulou, Samir, Masina, Femenia, Kabasele, Cleverley, Kamara ..... Dennis. Then if we need a goal late on, bring on Kucka for Cleverley.
Have you ever thought of switching dentist if you dislike it so much? I did (I already had a good excuse because one of the reasons was I wanted somewhere far more local) and the experience was a big improvement - completely painless check-up, despite not having had my teeth checked for five years, with no impatient and/or condescending staff.
I have switched dentist. Last one I saw was about 8 years ago. No need to go since. Both of my teeth are absolutely fine. The last dentist was utterly incompetent and clueless.
How predictable! Think we all knew he’d be fit .. https://www.thisisanfield.com/2022/...doUpePVdjg_zHMdesNAqWuvHJMRNRzBbOgpOV9w0gi2Q4
Bet 365 free 5 quid bet has gone on us at 16/1. I'm furious that instead of not winning £80, I could have not won £110.
Just tried to put £10 on with Skybet, but I am in Valencia and the app doesn't work here. Which means we will win.
Nice. Are you planning on catching the game on Sunday? If you haven’t visited the Mestalla, I wouldn’t hang about as they are restarting construction of their new stadium.
Even Klopp knows it's going to be a yellow and black blood bath. "Whatever they think about us we have to have to surprise them [Watford] with intensity and positivity." I mean yes, that's true -but then again do you really think that matters when Salah comes tearing at an unstable Cathcart while they stare in awe at this skill? It was men against boys in the reverse fixture, and although we have improved a little since that game I expect his exact team talk will be "go and have fun".
