I do think that at least Kucka had energy when he came on and made a few decent tackles, which is more than could be said of Sema, but his passing was shocking.

If our trio could pick their head up be less selfish and play the correct final ball we would have more. Because there is no doubt they can finish. Some awful moments today. Sissoko could easily have put Sarr in down the right plays it to a Manure player. Sarr running forward tothe left slides a pass to Dennis that is under hit and behind him. And Kucka. Dennis is in acres of space on the right and inexplicably the birthday boy decides a reverse pass to the invisible man. It's maddening to see.

Dennis is being selfish I agree but I think we have to attribute 50% of that to his decisions, the other 50% has to be down to LOOK AROUND HIM. Look to the left you have Ken Sema, up in support you have Clevs, Kucka & Sissoko offering support. Then on any runs you do make, the ball hardly gets to you because of your team mates inability to complete a pass, it's so disheartening.

I know we expect 100% effort, commitment and belief from the off, he should play like that but we do have to factor in a small amount of sympathy given what he has to work with.

Yeah that's fair. In his defence, he turned 35 today so he went from 10 minutes of energy to 5.

Good result and performance but won’t be enough due to results like the one midweek

It’s a shame that we’re gonna end up limping to relegation when there are a few teams above us who are continually leaving the door open

Brilliant point. Shame we can't do this in the home games. I've not checked, but I think that's the first time we've ever kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford.

We're still alive and kicking. Only 4 points behind Leeds having played the same amount. Still have them to play at home. Brentford dropping like a stone too. Hopefully Everton will lose to City then we'll be just 3 points behind them, although they do have two games in hand, however, we still have to play them at home too.

The great escape is still firmly on course.

An unexpected draw, a useful point but it all feels that it’s all a bit too late really.

A performance and result that will reverberate around world football. Sends a message to the relegation pack that we mean business. One of the all time great great Watford performances in our lifetimes. Heroes every one of them.

Keep talking about Sema like that and I'll expect you'll be hearing from his lawyers.

You never know. Next game though will once again be after the Lord Mayors show. We have played well against the 'better' sides probably because they offer space in behind which allows us to spring on the break. We seem clueless when it comes to sides that defend in depth. The midfield selections have not helped in that regard.

Samir and Kamara were great and so was Foster. I liked Louza too. Sissoko ran his socks off at least. Sarr and Dennis had some nice moves but were completely wasteful in the final third. Rest were shi*t. Kucka was horrific but at least had a few good tackles, while Sema did absolutely nothing. I'm completely baffled by that sub. Overall a pretty poor performance but a good point.

Through gritted teeth I will take that point.

It’s joyless football, but then again Hodgson wasn’t brought in for thrills a minute. (Just as well!).

Credit to him for our away results since he arrived. 5 points and only one goal conceded.

If only our home form were even half decent, we’d have an outside chance of staying up. Leeds and Brentford looking over their shoulders now.

    4 points off them.

Their fans will be going mad.

Funny thing is a point probably isn't really enough as we know it will go belly up against a team we have to beat at home.

Thing is, it wasn’t a good performance at all. We only drew because United missed absolute sitters over and over and over again. We had zero attacking intent at all. Had Sarr not had a shot at the end, they’d be literally no attacking moves to talk about.

We looked like a League 2 side against a PL team.

Sema is really bad. But looks like Roy likes him a lot. If he can somehow get a goal, I can see him starting consecutive games.

I actually quite enjoyed that as found it quite amusing that utd couldn’t score against us . It was a fantastic rear guard action to be fair . But going forward there was zero composure .

Sarr showed little willingness to run at any one for most of the match, which was also disappointing . Apart from the defence I thought Sissoko was decent today . If we’d beaten palace that point could have been massive but we are down anyway so not much meaning to it .

No doubt redcafe will be demanding teams like us should not be allowed in the PL. Not enough glamour. That we should play harikiri football just to provide entertainment and go on to lose 5-0 and worship at the altar of Cristina because Manure is all that is good in football.

The awful commentary team on my stream even said Sancho trained with Watford as if he just popped in for a few hours a week before upping sticks when he was actually cradle snatched by Abu Dhabi.

I expected the NIL on our side of the scoreline, but I have never seen us walk away from Manure with anything more than a loss. It was bland, it was never going to set the world alight, but all of us would of taken that at 15.00. Foster my MotM - some exceptional saves and a big improvement on our disaster show against Palarse. We will be happier with the point that United that's for sure.

But OMG - Sarr.... right at the death,,, that was an inch over the bar - similar to Kucka against Chelsea. What was very apparent today, was how woeful our subs are. Who do we bring on? King Ken, and birthday boy old boy Kucka. Credit to them, they never made any mistakes that ended in a howler. I Cathcart falling over when Ronaldo hit the post in the first half was comedy gold. VAR looked fair today for a change, a call for a pen that never was - that's been given against us before. Roy has to take credit for how we setup today, we never looked like scoring but we held firm and I think deserved the point.

My worry is our next game - against Arsenal. Not the team, the fact it's at Vicarage Road. Can we actually put in a good performance in front of our own fans?

It wasn't a fantastic defensive display at all. Samir made some decent blocks but Man Utd had numerous opportunities and should have won about 4-0. Roy is going to get credit for wasteful finishing and I won't have it.

Great point and good character from the players to grind that out after midweek. Problem is we keep getting thumped at home which nullifies these sparks of hope in the away games.

Too late, Roy Moore and the rest of the free ticket brigade are already defining this as a fantastic performance and could end up being the difference between staying up and relegation. The posts are eerily similar, like when MPs coordinate on Twitter. The trolls on here are talking like it’s part of a plan which has not changed.
