He's terrific. Every now and then they get caught too far up and Kiko and Kamara are get some space to run at.
Surely West Ham have more to offer than that. Hard to judge if we're preventing their game or if they're just not on it. Good organisation, but we need to be clinical for this style to keep us up.
The time for “great effort, unlucky not to get anything” is long gone I’m afraid No fault of Roy of course but we’ll ultimately go down in large part due to a failure to get anything at all from matches like tonight
It’s 2022 and we’re playing 4-4-2 with Kucka and Cleverley on the flanks. Good lord. We do look much more organised defensively but also like we will only score every 4 or 5 games. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to faff around with ‘progress’, we needed instant results. Newcastle and Burnley have buggered us tonight too.
Decent performance tonight, we lost and didn’t look like scoring. You can’t ask for more really. WE GO AGAIN
Veey unlucky not to get a point. The whole team played well especially Kamara. Undone by a unfortunate deflection. West Ham created little threat despite their possession. Samir kept Antonio quiet for instance. Our luck needs to turn soon and we need to carry some more threat. At this point in the season we have the deepest squad depth we have had all season long and need to make it count.
So unlucky and in a lot of ways cheated out of a point. We may not have threatened to score at all, but up until we conceded it was 0-0. We didn’t even concede until they scored. It’s just not fair in the Premier League. It’s ruined the game for me Clive. Luck was only introduced in 1992 thanks to Murdoch.
Harsh. Deserved a point. Kamara looks very good so far. King annoyed me a little bit tonight but thought everyone else did pretty well.
Roy too slow with the subs and while we looked sort of in the game at 0-0, we dropped miles off the pace after they scored. King has regressed massively as the season has gone on and looked near hopeless tonight. Nothing went right for him. Kucka should have scored the first half headed chance. I don’t think we see enough from Sissoko either. He’s a bauble who has limited impact on the team’s performance in key areas and certainly never bosses the centre of the pitch. The one bright spot - for the watching scouts rather than us - was Kamara, who should earn an immediate move on in the summer to a more established PL club. Oh and we’re going to be replaced in the PL by the scum. Honestly, **** this season.
"Shown a lot of fight have Watford but not quite been enough has it" That sums it up really, Roy has got us doing the bare minimum expected well over the last two games. Effort, fight, desire, organisation and he deserves credit for that because Watford don't always deliver the bare minimum. This same West Ham team beat us 4-1 just over a month ago. Yet the players are just short of the required quality to stay up in this division, the midfield stands out as particularly short, Sissoko, Kayembe, Cleverly, Kucka is just not a talented nor balanced enough mix to get the points required. Newcastle's signings look to have made an immediate difference but we simply don't have enough. It would take a miracle, a massive return to early season form for Dennis, Sarr to fire and Louza to be the answer to a balanced midfield. Kamara has been a breath of fresh air. Lastly, that's 9 straight 90 minutes completed by Josh King without even getting close to scoring, he's annoying me. 9 losses in 11, utterly depressing stuff despite the small increase in performance and attitude.
Might look back on this as an overreaction, but I’m so bored of King, has to be Sarr, Dennis and JP as a front three from now.
Can only hope Sarr gives us some threat. We're more likely to keep clean sheets, but less likely to score. Basically trying to play like Burnley, and look where they are.
Good effort and unlucky. Special mention to Ian Darke at final whistle. “Zouma, the pantomime villain tonight gets the final touch”. No: He kicked a cat in the head you F&cking C&nt.
You know what they say mate. Goals don’t win games, rappers do. At least I think that’s how the song goes.
Very unlucky to lose against a team going for the Champions League. Kamara was my player of the match, didnt really put a foot wrong until he tired a little near the end. Kucka looks a different player ffs. Put Sarr in that team and it looks very promising. I think we will beat Brighton. What is love? Baby dont hurt me, dont hurt me, no more.
We look a bit more solid but I’d be surprised if we ever score a goal again. Our only slim hope is that Sarr fancies having a decent game every week for a change.
Gutted, but it is something that I need to get used to. OK we were unlucky, but that doesn’t really help. Roy and Ray, I’m afraid, have too few games to get us out of trouble. I was impressed with the effort from our players. We have a decent left back on our books. Newcastle winning comfortably causes even more pain.
If Hodgson had come in after we sacked Xisco then maybe we’d be in with a shout. He has got the players drilled very quickly so credit to him for that but we now don’t have time for his attritional football, we need wins and fast.
King showed exactly why we got him on a free transfer. Offers nothing up front and is not EPL quality. Would rather have Gray as King’s goal scoring record over the last 2 seasons is abysmal.
They're all ****....waaaah....why aren't any of them as good as any Man City first choices? ....waaaahthe Pozzos have ruined our club...waaaahFemenia....waaaahFoster...waaaah. That should have dealt with 1200 responses from the usual undercover MiGs . Sent from my DN2103 using Tapatalk
