Masina should be fired from a cannon. People were kidding themselves to believe he was gonna turn around and suddenly be good at this level. Same for kiko. Rose is a massive (no pun intended) gamble who could completley fail.
Players that if we are Brutally Honest aren’t premiership material Gray Success Masina Hughes Chalobah Louza Gosling Cleverley Deeney Cathcart Kabasele Troost-Ekong Kiko Duxbury has to be sacked
Just home and that had to be one of the worst first half performances in a very long time. Simple passes going astray. We gifted them that f#cking win
I'd say Hughes ans Chalobah would both have improved that side today. As it is, our preference to treating players as financial assets, rather than playing ones, cost us a chance of some points here.
I was feeling a bit negative , but you writing that that’s cheered me up as it means we almost certainly will not be relegated
Oh, and by the way, Hughes and Chalobah aside, the bulk of that list are tied down to nice, long contracts and will be extremely difficult to shift, since they are **** and nobody would want them.
Unfair that. He made two killer passes last week which led to goals - one of them on the floor after being fouled. He's plenty good enough for the squad.
Yeah lots of over reaction. Not like last week when people were all over the forum calling other people ****s for being critical of the owners and saying we would stay up easily.
Yes it was. That said Cleverley called for the ball. Unfortunately he is an old poor player who we gave a contract to extension to.
yeah you are spamming the forum with your opinions. Little Ross doing his “funny” posts doesn’t do that mind.
Not sure why you would think Im crying, I just disagreed with your opinion which to be fair was a pretty naive statement.
Ah bless, it is so sweet when the BWs run around helping each other out. I undertsand you're a sensitive bunch but you should really try not to get hurt when anyone outside of your echo chamber disagrees with you.
I don’t mind if people disagree. I thought we were great last week, very poor this week. If we keep that up we will stay up. Very happy on my side if that happens.
If we play like we did last week, we give ourselves a fighting chance of staying up. If we play like we did tonight, we make it very difficult for ourselves. In my humble opinion, two matches into a season isn’t yet a big enough sample size to be sure which is the more likely outcome. Especially as we have so many debutants to blood in, we are probably likely to take a while to settle on our best line-up, and based on previous experiences a change of coaching staff is probably likely at some point along the way too. One thing we can all sadly agree on though. Tonight was a really awful performance and there’s no getting around that. Let’s just hope that in a few weeks time we aren’t all looking back at going 3-0 up against Villa aa being as good as it got.
The only thing I can think of he might have been considered better in the air at set pieces and so on. Otherwise, like you, I don't get it.
WTE has always been a liability and it’s no surprise to see him make a mistake that leads to a goal. You get away with that in the championship but you get punished at this level 9/10. Never rated Masina either, he is dumb as a brick and regularly gets caught out. Not worth losing sleep over though, I’ve watched Watford for long enough to know you win some you lose some.
They do make me chuckle. They remind me of a group of hysterical school boys fostering a ludicrous plan to overthrow Matron, who is perceived to be the source of all their discontent and strife. The slightly sad thing is, it is obvious for all to see that some of them actually would rather Watford lost just so they can be proven right. And then proceed to spam up the forum with relentless negativity with a renewed vigour and sense of self righteousness
He's on my ignore list, so I've no idea what he's saying, but personally, I prefer it when Watford lose because it proves me right, so I can spam the forum with relentless negativity with self righteous vigour.
He’s weird. Complains that the forum is polluted by arguments but he constantly posts his deeply unfunny replies to try and get a reaction. Maybe it is time to block him. Edit: just saw his nonsense above about matron and how we want us to lose. What a bizarre person.
That's a bit rich. You are one of them. You are entitled to your opinion and the other members are entitled to express their opinion. They may be bedwetters, but perhaps you could send them some of your spare nappies. Just relax. We all disappointed with the gutless manner of the defeat, but tomorrow is another day and we move on. We all know Watford must perform at a much higher level if we are to survive in the Premier league.
I have never rated Masina and the defending tonight and the ridiculous tackle last week only backs this up.
He did score a direct free kick once. He’s also tall , can never have enough tall full backs. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The defenders we have proved themselves last season. They are top level in that division. But unfortunately that just does not translate to the Premier League. They are not strong, mistake free and savvy enough. The club has to finally invest a bit of money in this area or else we’re going to struggle. This is where clubs like Brighton and Burnley have been superior to us over the years. They are pretty hard to score against and this ability keeps them in games making them competitive. We never seem to see the value in it. Clean sheets got us promoted. Clean sheets will keep us up. We’ve got the hard bit right. Our forward players will keep us up this season, but only if we upgrade the defence.
Against Spurs: Bachmann; Ngakia, WTE, Sierralta, Rose; Cleverley, Etebo, Tufan; Sarr, Dennis, Cucho. I know I’ve just thrown a load of names out there and given no tactical insight at all, but that’s made Xisco a very rich man, right?
