I still can't be too hard on Ivic, we started the season with some key players injured and most of the rest simply not looking match fit.

He also helped make our defence solid, something which has remained key under Munoz.

Shame we couldn't put in a performance like that on Saturday because we would probably already be promoted. Great showing from the lads high intensity and a decent work rate and a great team spirit. If only we would have performed at the start of the season we may have just won the league I genuinely believe we are better than Norwich but took too long to get started due to the chaos earlier in the season.

Yeah, I dont know why Sky comms keep saying we need 4 more points. Just the 3 against Millwall on Sat will do it.

Am I right in thinking if Norwich lose draw and win one of their last games, and we win 3 we could win the league on gd?

Our rivals costing us the title.

I hope not. Knowing us, we’d just completely switch off and get trounced.

We basically would need to lose every game now to potentially get passed up, and our opponents need to win all of theirs.

It's all over bar the shouting.

Last time we were promoted was wonderful. A brilliant but very long and stressful day.

This time we can clinch it ourselves, rather than when we aren’t playing.

No sitting around waiting for other results.

This Saturday promises to be potentially one of the best days in our club history.

After so many months of lockdown and isolation, I’m so happy that I will be able to share it with my footballing friends on here.

We may all disagree at times and rile and annoy each other, but we all want the best for our beloved club, and we are now just a few days away from that happening :)

If you find yourself sympathising with Ivic, remember he kept the best defender in the division on the bench for half a season.

Funny old game football. I'd have taken 2 points from Luton and Norwich. Instead we lose to our biggest rivals then won tonight. Get 3 points but go through the massive low of Saturday in the process.

Never easy being a watford fan. Swansea also lost so over the 2 matches we've gained 2 points on them and 1 point on Brentford

I think it was all written before the end of the Swansea game, if they had won we would have technically needed 4 points for guaranteed promotion

Something about QPR and last minute winners. Did for us at ours, did a nice favour for us in Wales!

In other news if Brentford early kick off on sat don’t win a draw at home to Millwall would suffice!

Okay so basically, Bournemouth can all but promote us yes? Irony of ironies lol

They win the early kick off on Saturday, and Brentford are still 10 behind us with only three to play.

Technically, it wouldn’t quite be all over mathematically before we play as Swansea could catch us in theory but only if we lost all three, they won all three and there was a huge goal difference swing.

    Am I right?

Couldn’t watch. Resigned myself to the worst, then saw the result.

Did a girlish shriek and danced around the kitchen like an elf.

My alcohol free streak has suffered an impromptu end tonight.

Who would have thought it was the same team as Saturday?
Superb energy and enthusiasm and a lovely goal to win it.
Cuddly's reaction to his block at the end of the forty fifth minute of added time,NC's delightful ball to the hapless Gray ( SHOOT man!),TBFC going to ground to kill the game ( twice),generally every one of them.
    We own the budgies!
Very quiet from those two new members 'Haemorrhoids' and 'Dozy Dan' tonight.
    Ref was a sap.
Have a good couple of days all.
    Perhaps I will sleep tonight?!

Cathcart gave a pretty perfect performance in the end! Put in a worldie cross for Gosling. Food for thought with Kiko returning.

    Nope, it’s even better.

Swansea can now only get a max of 85.

    Brentford 87 and Bmuff 86.

If Brentford vs Bmuff ends in a draw, Brentford max becomes 85, Bmuff 84.

Mathematically we won’t be promoted before our game. However if they draw, a point would be enough. If one of them wins, then we have to win to mathematically be up.

Muff draw - we only need 1 point to go up.

Muff win - beat Millwall and we're up.

Muff loss - the game at Brentford is a cup final.

Wonderful performance and result. One more win and we’re there. Millwall is a must win. Or must not lose if Bournemouth v Brentford is a draw.

It’s not all over until it’s over. If Millwall sneak a result then it’s game on with matches against the two chasing sides. We must avoid that at all costs.

Having said that, it is looking very good. Certainly back on track after the defeat last Saturday.

Fantastic performance. Such a difference from Saturday- Sarr looked so much more up for it, Cleverley ran his socks off and Cathcart was a rock at the back. We peppered them in the first 25 minutes, and the law of averages suggests one of those chances will go in eventually and it did. Gosling deserved the goal, played very well
