It would be folly to damage our special relationship with the US of A by putting Trump in the same room as a brown person who is also a Muslim and therefore probably a terrorist
I don’t understand why this isn’t a bigger story. Apparently No 10 blocked Javid attending the state banquet. It has since claimed that Home Secretaries are not usually invited, forgetting that Amber Rudd went to the last two as HS. I can’t help feeling that if this was Corbyn this would be the biggest story ever and rightly it would be.
Jeremy Hunt being Jeremy C*nt the racist in words that may come back to haunt him. https://news.sky.com/story/jeremy-h...onald-trumps-criticism-of-sadiq-khan-11743490
Another woman accuses Trump of rape today, from back in the mid 90s, notable US author/journalist E. Jean Carroll. This would be the end of any other President. http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/06/president-donald-trump-faces-new-rape-accusation.html Trump immediately had the White House issue a statement denying it, of course, along with a denial of ever having met his accuser. ...which is awkward, considering pictures were immediately discovered of the two of them together at a party.
Right wing people will carry on finding a way of apologising for him, probably by blaming Jeremy Corbyn
It's incredible. This is the same crowd who wanted Clinton impeached for getting an extra-marital blowjob, and formed the Tea Party to oppose "runaway deficits". Given how much Trump's tax cuts have blown up the deficit and the sheer number of women who have accused Trump of sexual assault (including the latest one, who describes full on rape in lurid detail), the rank hypocrisy is simply jaw dropping. I understand a degree of scepticism when people accuse public figures, but when there are SO MANY saying the same thing the notion that it's all a "[insert opposition party] plot" is farcical.
Trump retweets tweet with fake quote, purportedly from Ronald Reagan identifying him as a future president, from account with 13 followers. https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...ous-quote-of-reagan-predicting-his-presidency
Interfering in foreign taxation policy now. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-48947922 I'd like to point out the sheer hypocrisy of this considering that the US taxes its own citizens if they live abroad. For example, if a US citizen moves to Brazil, not only are they liable for paying taxes in Brazil, they also have to file with the IRS.
Presumably Google now just files in US as normal with the levy deducted as an expense so they are indifferent. France gains, US loses.
I take it no one is going to defend ****ybollox on his tweets telling ethnic US congresswomen to go home and sort their own countries out?
The funny part of his comments on the congresswomen is how much of an own goal it is. Take a look at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She was born in the US, and in fact is the daughter of two US natural born citizens of Puerto Rican descent. Trump, on the other hand, is the son of a first-generation American (his father) and a Scot (his mother). His grandfather was actually deported. This means that Ocasio-Cortez' family has been established in the US longer than his own. Still, you have to agree with part of his synopsis: 10/10 for self awareness, I guess.
Merkel isn't in great nick, so maybe Herr Drumpf could go to Germany and sort out their problems, which I believe mostly relate to immigration.
Yeah, I read the judge has unsealed files relating to allegations that a 17 year old was 'forced to have sex'. https://www.express.co.uk/news/roya...rey-epstein-files-virginia-roberts-royal-news
Donald Trump & Jeffrey Epstein rape Lawsuit and affidavits here. Jeffrey Epstein's "Little Black Book" here (some very interesting names in it).
From lawsuit: Defendant Trump initiated sexual contact with Plaintiff at four different parties. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied Plaintiffto a bed, exposed himself to Plaintiff, and then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff. During thecourse of this savage sexual attack, Plaintiff loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop butwith no effect. Defendant Trump responded to Plaintiff’s pleas by violently striking Plaintiff inthe face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted. Exhs. A andB.11. Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened Plaintiff that, wereshe ever to reveal any of the details of the sexual and physical abuse of her by Defendant Trump,Plaintiff and her family would be physically harmed if not killed. Exhs. A and B
Having gone through family bereavements before, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Death is nothing to joked about or to be flippant with. That being said, I really hope someone assassinates Trump soon. Because it’s become clear that he can do NOTHING that will make them impeach him.
Trump increasingly bringing to mind Saville, allegations, weirdness, self-absorption, disinhibition, craving for fame and access etc.
Sting (what's happened to Sting?)got quite animated when I mooted this, but if you weigh up the good and bad, pass me the rifle.
Agreed. We can moan and complain as much as we like, but the responsibility rests with the electorate in each country. Arguments have been raised that Russia interfered in the US election, Facebook and other social media outlets supposedly influenced voters, tactical canvassing allowed Trump to win the election without getting the majority of the votes, the Democrats picked the wrong candidate etc. etc. The bottom line is that if a fraction of the non-racists who didn't vote, actually turned up to the polling stations, he would not have won. The same situation could arise in 2020, with apathy and lethargy allowing him to remain in power. By the way, his racism is only one aspect of his outrageously flawed character. Trump is working on his base very hard, and will rely on those most adversely impacted by his presidency to stay at home at in 2020. Advocacy groups and human rights agencies should now be actively campaigning to get the vote out to stop this tyrant in his tracks.
Lots of people are defending him. Including most Republicans and 90% of the comments section of the Mail on Line. Some just go instinctively for the famous "just saying what everyone's thinking" line, which is good for every occasion. But the main line of defence, including by Captain Tango himself, is that the four accused are......wait for it, wait for it....Anti-Semitic. Donald J. TrumpVerified account @realDonaldTrump "The Democrat Congresswomen have been spewing some of the most vile, hateful, and disgusting things ever said by a politician in the House or Senate, & yet they get a free pass and a big embrace from the Democrat Party. Horrible anti-Israel, anti-USA, pro-terrorist & public shouting of the F...word, among many other terrible things, and the petrified Dems run for the hills. Why isn’t the House voting to rebuke the filthy and hate laced things they have said? Because they are the Radical Left, and the Democrats are afraid to take them on. Sad!" What a massive coincidence that all these left wingers around the world, who cleverly kept up that veneer of anti-racism struggle and activism over all those decades, are all being exposed as anti-Israel and pro-terrorist at the same time.
He’s played it beautifully. It’ll be eaten up by his supporters who’ve spent their lives being oppressed by minorities taking their jobs and hating America. He’s done a blinding job of increasing division between left and right, muddying the middle ground that was already pretty murky in this polarized political climate. He’s here to stay, unfortunately. A sad and disgusting reflection of politics in this country.
