Got my new PC back in October at the top end, so hopefully it'll still be ok, but this game is likely to need a lot of juice. I heard they had their budget raised by 40% to make this one, so it'll be very hotly anticipated I think. Can't wait.

My aim for the next two months:

    1. Build new computer for gaming, as this one is now seven years old and can't run anything.
    2. Crysis/Far Cry 3/Battlefield 3/Hitman/ Rome II/C&C Generals 2
    3. Hurrah

    A distant 4: Half Life 3...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Half Life 3? We'll win the champions league before that comes out.

Booooooooo! I demand a proper gaming section, a single thread will not suffice!

Currently playing Modern Warfare 3, meh.

Definitely getting tired of the Call of Duty series, ever since Modern Warfare 2 it's declined. Black Ops 2 looks awful!

I actually think Black Ops 2 looks pretty decent, at least they've tried to take it in a bit of a new direction, and I liked the first Black Ops, despite it essentially being the same old tired, stale gameplay and graphics of the past 3/4 years with some good, different maps and a couple of cool new multiplayer features, which I'm sure Black Ops 2 will be as well. F**king despised MW3 though, absolutely awful in every way and the definition of the term 'resting on your laurels'.

Whilst I agree with this, and I cannot think of another direction they could have taken it, I still will not be getting it. Quite happy with my Modern Warfare 2.

Anyone else got Formula 1 2011? Cracking game, starting with HRT in a new career mode and it's such a challenge, they dont even have KERS ffs :]]

F1 2011 is pretty decent Harrow. My favourite racing sim has to be GTR2 though. GTR3 sadly doesn't look like it will be a recreation of any FIA GT championship though.

PES2013 demo is out on Wednesday for download. Looks tremendous and plays very well too.

I always enjoyed COD the most when the games were set in WW2. The plots were realistic, and for me made the game big time. I absolutely loved world at war, what a game that was. Probably one of my favourite games on the 360. They need to go back to WW2 IMO, there's so much more they can do with it, and with the latest technology and graphics, they can revamp old titles.

The COD WW2 games were by far the best series IMO, they haven't got a thing on modern warfare, and the latter isn't nearly as interesting to me.

COD1 and COD2 on PC were by far the best.

That generation of PC FPS gaming before the consoles waded in was unrivalled.

I do on the 360. Got to admit it is a challenge. Making the difficulty one step harder each race, so traction control will be fully off by Monaco! Bold. This way I should be playing on the hardest difficulty setting by the time I start season 2.

Building a PC is so much better than buying one. It's literally a bit of research which you'd have to do when buying a pc/laptop anyway, and then anyone who can build lego can put a pc together.

Yes I have. It is extremely good and immersive and plays much like real football. Shooting is great, dribbling and passing is excellent as is the defensive system of pressure and tackling. Many more new animations and unlike FIFA proper feet planting and inertia. Ball physics are very good. Keepers are excellent. It pays to play like real football too not a madcap dash up and down the pitch.

Problems though are the AI while very intelligent (far superior to FIFA) and gameplay is great they do not keep the ball for long enough or pass it around as much as they should and the game becomes stretched too quickly. Fatigue system is not there at present unfortunately. Switching players on manual can be a bit of a pain too.

Other than that the fluidity and excitement of the old PES games is back.

You can get unlocked teams for the demo here:
    http://www.pes-patch.com/category/pes-2013-demo-patches

    Fairly simple to install.

    Sure is, easy as pie.

Also can put quality components in, PSU, motherboard - all the bits where PC manufacturers cut costs. Much cheaper overall too.

Don't talk rubbish. FIFA will no doubt be trying to copy PES again next year. Some peoples' heads mainly kids with an IQ to match have their heads so far up FIFA's arse they cannot see the truth.

Mate, when it comes to FIFA/PES you seriously live in the past and in denial. I used to be a hardcore PES fan as well, until I started properly playing FIFA and realised it's actually a far, far better game. PES used to be good but it's absolute sh*te year after year now and FIFA, not without a number of faults itself, is the superior game in literally every way.

It's also funny you that you can happily sit there and insult peoples IQ for having "their heads up FIFA's arse" when you have had yours firmly stuck up PES's ever since I can remember.
