So what does everyone do?

I work for what was Inland Revenue and is now joined with Customs.

I suppose that makes me worse than Jobr1's vagrant.

Spend my work time doing presentations and workshops to help people do tax returns and run payroll. No internet at work so only come one the message boards early morning or after work, dog walk, cooking dinner and ironing.

My second job is selling sweets in the family room on match days. Much more fun.

Dropped out of my law degree after one near just started a history degree....an extra year of doing nothing and getting drunk..get in!

Havent read all the posts in this thread, could someone quickly sum up what is going on here?

 

we are talking about we we do for a living and how we can spend so much time on here.

 

I gathered that much, but then I flicked to the last page and it looked it bit more personal... with quotes like.... I hate your type of people!

 

I'm a student at the University of East Anglia currently on a year abroad in Strasbourg, France. I do no work, hence sitting around all day on here. I'd get bored but the free money I get from the EU more than compensates me for my time - and with rent of only £82/month I have plenty spare ;D

I have to be in Luton, Monday to Friday teaching the caravans boys how to find locations on a map (geography). The one good pleasure is, as a head of year, i tend to send the kids who support luton home a lot more than the others!

 

Faith... the beautiful thing about football is that it really does not matter what people do outside the stadium when a match is being played, they all become as the total sum of the crowds parts.... the 12th man!

What is missing in todays stadium, is the terrace... Being anonymous, a part of a passionate, emotionally vocal, baying and swaying crowd... (a place to forget everything about the outside world, and to enjoy the sense of being insignificant in the belly of an immensely significant roaring great monster)

Totally agree, when I go to football I am a different person, I shout and swear and sing until I'm hoarse!!!!

I have only been once to a ground with terracing, bournemouth about 8 years ago, wasn't really enough people there that day to be a roaring great monster!!!!!

 

A whoooooooooooooooooooosh is required to get back on track.
