I think my first ever football match was an Arsenal game, possibly vs Bolton about 10yrs ago when i supported Arsenal as a nipper (copied my neighbour who is 3 yrs older than me and who obviously you think is cool lol).

My first Watford game was possibly the same year, can't for the life of me remember who it was against though.

 

My first Luton away adventure, was Wycombe back in the division 3 days. I believe it may have been the same season we triumphed (AGAIN) over you lot. At the time I was a superstar for Luton Rugby Football Club, we were on the pitch playing a curtain raiser against High Wycombe...Of course we won (I think :rolleye1: ).

Luton went on to get an injury time winner

I was only 6 so I can't completley remember, but I think it was against Rotherham. Possibly in Division 2 or 3. As in, Nationwide, not in the 80's or anything

 

Notts county on boxing day.feck knows what year????? 0-0 dad wrote a letter to graham taylor as it was almost the only 0-0 in country. Got one back aswell.

 

Tranmere at home in 92 I think and Norwich away in 98. Never been to an England match, hoping for the Brazil match at Wembley to be my first.

Watford v Liverpool in about 86, Barnes and Callaghan destroyed them.

First England game was probably late 80's (think 87) we beat Turkey 8-0 with a Linekar hat trick and a couple from Barnes again. Not been to an England game since Wembley closed, doubt I will again as lost passion for international football

 

First scum match- 1-1 at vic rd. darren bazeley last minute equaliser

First at the kennel-- :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] :]] 4-0

 

Good thread, Home- Barnsley in 95/96(?) relegation season, lost 3-2. Upon hearing Barnsley fans singing "you're not singing anymore" asked my Dad why we weren't singing

Away- Wrexham, lost 3-1, Kevin Philips sent off

 

first watford game (that i can remember) was Newcastle in 1992, we won 2-1, Fuzzy scored, Keith Waugh in goal had an amazing game. but i think i went to games before that.

first away game, Brizzle ******, April 1998, 1-1, Jason Lee scored, we went up

 

First game was a 2-1 victory over Wrexham, I think. Second was a 2-1 loss to Blackburn.

 

First Watford Game: Watford vs York, 2-1 win for us with a certain Tommy Mooney scoring.

First Away Game: QPR 3 Watford 1 - only remembered for Ardleys 25 yard volley.

First England Game: Hoping the Brazil game will be my first.

 

1st Watford game 95/96 season... cant remember who against, 1st i can remember was against blackpool i think.

1st England (U21) v Italy last month at wembley :]]

That was my first game aswell, sat in the East stand freezing my nads off!!

first game was when i was six or seven at home to crewe, we lost 1-0, can only remember me and my brother (luke_golden) though kevin phillips was amazing

 

First Watford game, October 1991, Plymouth vs Watford at Home Park. The 'orns won 1-0.

 

Dunno long time ago, too many beers in the meantime.

The oldest ticket stb I've still got is Notts Forest 01/03/03. Rookery 00 57 for the grand sum of £15.

Definitely went to a couple of games in 02 & 01. My first match was lower Rous:dismay:

 

I think my first game was away to Blackpool. No idea of my first home game, it was around '96.

 

First one I can fully recall was losing 2-1 at home to Peterborough in the 63-64 season, although my Dad had taken me into the ground quite a few times before when they used to open the big wooden sliding doors at the Vic Rd End during the 2nd half.

 

First Watford game was conincidentally also first Luton game. At the Vic at Easter '93. Worst football game I ever saw. Funnily enough also the game that made me a Watford fan - and not a Luton fan.

First England game was in Copenhagen many years ago. A 1-1 I think - it was a crap friendly. England played Steve Bull up front.

 

Can't remember 1st Watford game but it would have been during 80-81 season.
Strangly I can remember my 1st game watching anyone which was QPR v Liverpool but can't remember year or result (probably about 1974/75).
1st England game (and last :]] ) was a friendly England v Denmark which was 0-0 and must have been about 1987ish. First Watford away game was v the scum and probably in 1981/82.
1st game I was really p**sed off at having to miss was v Wrexham when we got promoted to 1st division, up til that season I had gone when I could and didn't worry if I missed games, but that season it was the only home game I missed.

 

that was in Turkey - I was there. Can't remember the year. That would make 5 wfc fans at te game then at least. We drove there ... great trip.

 

Na, Wembly I am sure! didn't we draw 0-0 away with them. I know we beat them by a big score away at some other point but I can remember that game as went to virtually every England game from then on for about 5 years.

 

We also beat them 8-0 away in 1984, you must had been at that match, I was worried that I was thinking up games in my head there!

first home game was against qpr in 1979 , remember my dad taking me on my birthday , think we won 2-1 although i cant be sure .

first away game was against Everton in the F.A cup final..everyone knows the result :dismay:

First england game was a friendly at Wembley against Hungary , we won 1-0 think linaker got one of his late tap ins
