What are they thinking ? 670 wickets in 200 matches, leading wicket taker and only 31 Still better than oinions and Sidebottom and would be worth a place in the England squad. 250 wickets in 70 tests is a better record than most of our squad
As great a player as Hoggy was there are excellent youngsters at Yorkshire and at the end of the day they can sign 3 youngsters for the price of Hoggy. I am also sure he will have no problems finding a new club however after 15 years at Yorkshire I am sure that is not much consolation for him. i would not be surprised to see him playing for Lancs next season. That would really wind Yorkshire up.
with Durham likely to lose 3 players to England next summer he might find himself up there teh only problem being over 30 is that Counties are being bonused on brining through under 23 players. Great but it means most players over 28 or 29 will struggle in years to come and it could lead to a lower standard of player in persuit of cash
