I think Yedlin would fit our team on a year Loan from spuds. He can play left or right. Loads of talent and fast. What's your thoughts?
Extremely raw, we need proven quality Pedigree in the MLS doesn't count for much, Bradley Wright Phillips is breaking goalscoring records over there. The fact that Spurs brought in Trippier when they already have Walker leads me to believe they don't rate him
Yedlin can play. He's better at wing-back than right back, but would be very useful. Remember, he got where he is playing (until last year) against inferior competition. How much we need a right-sided player I'm not sure. I've not seen enough of him on the left to say whether or not he can play over there. He certainly has Premier League pace.
As un patriotic as it may seem, I do believe premier league is a step to far. He needs work defensively, which can be seen by the fact, for the nation team he makes a lot of appearances on the wing, not as a full back.
I felt that was more because the US lacked threats going forward that could actually get to the end line more than his inability to defend. Where I felt he needed work was more in small-ball/combination play. Having a feel of where to move and play the ball. On the ball defending, running full-pelt forward and delivering a final ball I've thought were fine.
Idk, with the way Timmy Chandler has been playing, I feel that Jurgen sees a defense flaw in him. Though I am be biased and don't wanna over hype him. ** Cough Freddy Adu Cough
