You all seen this? Teams through thusfar:

    Australia
    Japan
    Korea DPR
    Korea Republic
    Netherlands
    South Africa

Teams giving it a good go include:

Gabon, Zambia, Honduras, Burkina Faso, Israel and Bosnia.

Plus there is a playoff between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to decide who plays New Zealand for a place. Anyone who has just watched NZ against South Africa will be wary of their complete inability.

Could this be the best World Cup ever? Or will it just be like watching Germany-Saudi in 2002 ten times over?

Be the normal mix of great team, surprise sides and also rams which make up the World Cup.

The Africa teams are getting better and Oz as well but I agree about sides like New Zealand.

The beauty of the world cup, and why I don't agree with proposed pre-qualification rounds for minnow teams.

Smaller teams always have more hunger, so make for better watching. Watching Argentina is like watching paint dry with occasional injections of morphine that spices things up.

Well I think I remember Argentina got beaten 5-1 recently by someone like Chile or Ecuador. not sure who.
