I literally cannot believe what I am seeing, Spain are getting demolished.

They could be 6-1 down - Sneijder should have scored early on, and RVP hit the bar!

I thought Spain losing 5-1 was hilarious, but then Torres stepped up to make me practically kill myself laughing.

Underdogs World Cup. I fancy our chances to go further than the quarters.

This World Cup is going to be absolutely insane.

The Netherlands-Spain game tonight was one of the best WC games I've ever seen. Brilliant goals, high-scoring, awful keeping, the holders embarrassed and even a bit of Torres comedy thrown in for good measure at the end.

Probably should've been about 8-3, some great saves/chances missed too.

Oh and Richard 'Keysy' Keys' video blogs have become a welcome addition to this World Cup. I don't understand how he can be such a perfect mix of David Brent and Alan Partridge without being in the slightest bit aware of it.

I had the Netherlands winning but I couldn't have predicted that. Astonishing.

I found it amazing how nobody really mentioned them in the run up to this World Cup. They have a perfect mix of experience and youth, a quality manager, and a few of the world's best players.

When they went ahead after Robben's first, the reaction of the commentators would have made you think Spain had gone behind to Australia.

    Great game.

Incident packed match that deserved a far better "action replay" service from the TV people, than we got.

Tika-taka came well and truly unstika-staka.

Not a fan of little lord Persie, but you have to admire that header. Perfect technique.

Great game. Just wish I'd put money as well as 'Orns on Robben scoring.

I can't believe how easily Spain capitulated. Holland played really well and RVP's goal was absolutely fantastic.

Let hope that things continue like this

And we thought our defence was ropey at times last season!

Some of the Spanish was awful.

Chile will really fancy their chances...

How do they manage to measure how much distance every single player runs each match?

Alan Shearer is a godawful pundit. No wonder he failed as a manager, he's clueless.

Thierry Henry looks positively embarrassed for him at times.

Prozone doesn't use GPS and I suspect that or a similar system is being used in Brazil.

Do they really use that all the time? I thought they just worked out an estimate by using all the information from the 16 or so cameras?

Difficult second album for Spain there.

So they return to ****ing bottling it like they usually used to do.

    Just like us last season.

    Vanishing Spain

Do you think the Spaniards have got mixed up and thought it was supposed to be Vanishing Spain, instead of Vanishing Spray :naughty:

Listened to the Australia game on R5 today. Robbie Savages genuine excitement at the Cahill goal was quite endearing.

I don't necessarily agree with what he says, but he seems less bothered about saying what he thinks. I like him.
