Sadly I thought Quique would have seen that his "Arsenal 2nd Half" team was clearly the way to go. Attack is the best form of defence when you have terrible defenders. Score two, concede none, shots galore. That's your team sorted, right? But no, play more defenders you say? And lose 8-0? If he doesn't learn from that then I totally despair.

Season HAS to start next Saturday.

    Wholesale changes need to happen.

More importantly the players need to start playing for their careers and the shirt! A big week ahead, but we've said that before this season.

    Team 4-2-3-1/4-3-3

    Bachmann
    Janmaat
    Kabasele
    Cathcart
    Masina
    Capoue
    Chalobah
    Sarr
    Cleverley
    Deulofeu
    Gray

Subs: Foster, Mariappa, Welbeck, Doucoure, Pereyra, Quina & Hughes

Need to start again and send a message to certain players that they aren't invincible and can't just walk into our team (Kiko, Foster, Dawson, Holebas, Doucoure & Hughes).

The result will depend on our mentality, not on our quality.

Our quality is there for all to see, we just aren't showing it.

To put yesterday into perspective. It took City just 18 minutes to score more than we have scored in the entire season.

A total of 8 goals has taken us from 23rd April at Huddersfield until now to achieve.

That is right. You can only think we are crap and just laugh about it.
We should not be on MOTD, but 'You've been framed'.
No anger, just embarrassed that l have to agree with people laughing at us. The team deserve all the comments aimed at them - for now.

There are apparently 5 stages of grief and I’ve now got through the anger stage with a lot of help from my mate Shiraz.

I’m now in stage 4 which is depression, and only a decent result on Saturday can get me out of it so:

Come on u Hornets, we can win this..

Agree with that lineup for Wolves (though I'd have Success on the bench for Hughes). Sadly I very much doubt it will happen though.

What ever team he is starting Saturday needs to start Tuesday as well. The more minutes together on the pitch so QSF can see what works and what needs changing the better

I'm on court until 1pm but if someone can give me a lift,I could change into my sixties shirt in the car and play the second half?
Need to be back for Sunday for Northwood in the Harris Cup semi final.

    Has he got muscle imbalance?

I look forward to coming on these forums and revelling in the comments of the mountains upon mountains of dribbling, happy clapping, delusional, weak morons on here, safe in the knowledge that I'll never be such a spineless, blinkered, nodding dog of a person.

I can only hope that Quique sent certain players out there on Saturday with the clear expectation they would perform in such an abject way as to make it impossible they ever pull on the shirt again, creating the perfect storm by which to ostracize certain players and force Gino to accept we need major improvements this January, if we’re not completely sunk already.

It’s a feint hope, but it’s hope nonetheless. Hope that I fully expect will be crushed when the starting eleven for Wolves is named and Femenia lines up at RB, with Holebas opposite.

Wolves have come away with some undeserved points this season, home to united was similar to our arsenal performance as they played well second half but burnley and palace they deserved nothing and better teams would of put those games to bed. But one thing they had earlier against palace was fight they never gave up even if they were shocking, Raul as much as I dislike him works his socks off every game. We really need to isolate coady other teams have done this and punished them this season. Who’d of thought this would be a relegation six pointer when the fixtures came out? What ever team QSF picks let’s just prey they put the effort in. If Dawson and foster play they will be in for a torrid day from the home Neanderthal support let’s hope they can handle the occasion and it improves their performances as Dawson’s yet to turn up in a yellow shirt.

Yet again, I don't recognise this at all.

Isn't it about time you provided some evidence instead of 'ranting from Kent'. Name names. Refer to specific posts.

You could start by pointing out where anybody has:

    1. Defended the current quality of our back line and the transfer policy that's delivered it and/or,

    2. Defended our performance on Saturday and had anything positive to say about it at all.

Off you go. Apparently there are 'mountains and mountains' of us so it should be an easy enough task.

    No.
I have two brothers, one of whom appears to be changing into someone from Pinky and Perky Blinders or whatever it's called.
Ford and Arthur might play, then again they might decide to have another snooze.
Mr IBB will be at the ITF AGM.
My three team mates for the HC game may be a possibility.
Then there's El Faggo,Nursie,my neighbour with her dodgy hip.
    How many is that?

Worth noting that Wolves fans won't shut up about their major complaint, which is the same as it has always been under NES in their current 3-at-the-back incarnation, being that they have no idea how to respond to teams who sit back solidly and invite Wolves onto them; they can't break them down, and they have no plan B. Having fielded a cowardly 7-full-back lineup against City, it would be so very 'us' to then send out a flying squad at Molineux to charge straight into Wolves' hands and get torn apart like wet bread on the break.

That's what we should really be judging Quique's prospects on: whether or not he can work out the Prem's most open secret; that there's a cheat code for beating Wolves that everyone already knows.

Guess we'll find out come 2pm this Saturday.

Fascinating battle between 2 in form teams.
WW scored a last minute equaliser to take a valuable point at CP and we didn't concede a goal for the last 5 minutes of the MC game, a much needed improvement in form.
    Must win game.
    0-3.

Please do provide evidence of my regular 'happy-clappy-ness', where I accept poor performances without question. In case you are unclear what I'm talking about, happy-clappy-ness is much, much more than just not accepting your relentless negativity on most things related to the team.

I criticize what is obvious from you. You criticize those who don't accept your view by referring to something that is not in evidence, whether it be me or others who dare question your gloomy assessments.

Or, of course, it may just be that you are one of those tiresome and immature trolls who clog up forums across the internet in the belief that deliberate contrariness is somehow amusing. Perhaps a more realistic name for you is NathLTFC?

Plenty to pick from but a warm up would be when people dared to question extending the Gomes contract you piped up with:

“Mercenary bunch most of you. I welcome the news on the basis that the club knows best. Not us”

The reason this stuck in my mind because I remember being astonished by how subservient you were.
