I think you're one of very few people who would consider telling someone to kill themselves as 'not walking on eggshells'. Sure, disagree with people and, if you're feeling particularly excitable, call them a rude word. Telling someone to kill themselves is completely different to being a bit rude or obnoxious. Anyway, that's the last I'm going to say on the subject.
Couldn't agree more. Do teams, such as Wolves, in the relegation battle get a point deducted for having the worst goal difference?
Has anyone seen some of Dean Saunders quotes? The bloke comes out with some rubbish. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...s/studmarks-wolves-boss-dean-saunders-1348141 As an example, I'll try and post the Eye of the Tiger quote. Found it: We’ve got players here with the knack. You always have an eye for a goal but you can lose your eye of the tiger. I’ve still got my eye for goal now but if you lose your eye of the tiger you are not actually moving to where the ball is going. It is belief and confidence. When you are scoring you have got the eye of the tiger.”
A lot of WWFC fans have already lost patience with him and see him as a clueless, cliche-spouting, waste of space. I'm paraphrasing.
From what I've seen whilst doing a bit of research for the previews, you are being generous! They hate him more than Solbakken, it looks like they are set for another relegation.
Really thought they'd be competing this year. What's gone wrong? Their squad isn't the best but they have some decent quality in there with the likes of SEB, Sako and O'hara.
They do, they've just made terrible managerial decisions starting from when they sacked Mick McCarthy. What was the Ronaldo quote, Dom?
Same here but it just didn't click, SEB is a class goal scorer at this level but it's not going for him at the moment. (Watch him score a hat trick against us now!) I really like BBS, he'd be a good acquisition for any team in the division. It probably doesn't help that Saunders chops and changes so much. I remember when Kevin Doyle was linked with Arsenal, he can barely get in the team at the moment.
“He’s six foot something, fit as a flea, good looking – he’s got to have something wrong with him. Hopefully he’s hung like a hamster – That would make us all feel better. Having said that, me missus has got a pet hamster at home, and his c***’s massive.”
When I first read that c*** my brain registerd the other c-word.
Friday game and due to SKY we have it every where around the world What cud be better to watch own club after a hard days work, fresh after sauna and with some beer We will win 2-4
Ekstrand on sky sports Seemed like a sensible guy Said Zola gets them in the "best mood" before and after games
Welcome aboard. I like the look of that Jere Uronen. Send him over although he has gone over to that country that borders you.......
I'm going to take the moral high ground and point out if anywhere deserves a mass extermination, it's there.
Not sure if anybody is interested, but i have a ticket for the Wolves game going on Friday, its face value, but we will be driving up. Leaving at about 4pm. if anybody is interested let me know.
25% of me thinks this could be another Bristol City type game, us flying high against a lowly team in dire need of points who are on a terrible run, who then go and beat us. 75% of me thinks we are going to absolutely smash them 5 - 0, as we have put 3 or 4 goals past better teams. Now that I have said the above, the actual result will probably end up being 0 - 0 (now thats what you call hedging your bets)
He's not having a laugh. He's managing a football team. What do you expect him to say? "We've got no chance on Friday. Might as well give Watford the three points now." ...? We should comfortably beat them, but they do have a chance if they keep positive and we let our guard down like we did at Bristol City.
Sorry, but that annoyed me. Like you said, a Wolves win relies on their team having a great game and ours having the opposite. A very slim chance.
The problem I foresee is the fact we have a game on Tuesday night and of course the following Saturday. So is GFZ likely to go mad with his tinkering on Friday night, a-la Bristol City? If he does I fear for the result, but if he keeps it to no more than three changes we should be fine I hope.
I think you are overestimating the difference between teams in this division. Of course, you are entitled to be annoyed, if you want, but I doubt if any Manager would be as negative of their chances, in Wolves' position, nor as complacent if he was in Watfords' position.
Just had a quick look on their forums and their fans sound like we did when Baz was in charge .... only they also have to contend with the inept Saunders. They're a great club and while I hope we stuff them on Friday I also hope they sort themselves out and don't go down.
I think Saunders comments are warranted from the performance they put in against Cardiff. However Watford are a better team to Cardiff and will not be playing on mistakes to score goals. Counter attack and at least a brace from Vydra. Final score will be 4-1 to the orns.
