Agree with the last bit about success - thick as mince but there is a decent player in there somewhere

As long as we have no one else, I'd prefer to persevere with him than any of our other "forwards".

But expensive at £5 - burger at £7.50 and £3 for chips, and £5 a programme - rampant profiteering worthy of Philip Green. A doubt they charge those prices on a normal home fixture.

Yes, but I was surprised how small their ticket price increase was - £15 up to £20. Nice club and I hope they get promoted

I know the cupboard is bare, but Deeney has surely cemented the starting spot for January after his last 3/4 games. Doubt Success will get much of a look in after that performance today until the next cup match.

Utter dominance of an irrelevant team.

Their fans deflated after about two minutes when the immense gulf in class became clear. Wonderful stuff. I was hoping deulofeu would be given ten mins though, he'd have run riot.

Chalobah is finished though. Sad to see.

Professional performance, didn't really have to try at all. Peneranda has bags of potential but he's a greedy ****, going to have to get him to mature a fair bit in the next year or two if he's going to become a regular starter. Thought Massina stood out and looked class, also impressed by Wilmot.

What? Our second string team didn't even have to get out of first gear.

Northerner Tom Cleverly's great-uncle, Reg Stratton, scored two goals when Woking won the Amateur Cup and then turned pro with Fulham and Colchester. He died last year

Same old...…… An early rush of one-liner bile and rent-a-rant, gradually, but only gradually giving way to more considered stuff. The purveyors of the former really in need of a 'moaners corner', which is an idea Woking should be proud of. There is just no pleasing some people. Interspersing all this are those players' points-awarders who bestow joke numbers.
Awarding points in itself is not a bad idea, but in a match as one-sided as this it is very hard to properly judge what you are looking at. Thus Gomes and the centre backs can't really meaningfully be scored. Man of the match could go to Hughes, maybe Janmaat should get a mention in despatches.
Penaranda may be rusty, as described by loads of you. Ran through his bag of tricks and shot on sight, but never on target. I suppose he must have, but I don't remember him ever passing. Just a glimmer that he could end up getting targeted by the winder-uppers, who would see him as a mug for yellows and reds. (Maybe get rid of the blond bits and the sulky face?) He obviously has some skills and pace.
Success = disappointing: His strengths are his strength and pace, but he is erratic and his choices of movement and his passing poor. Players who pass behind their team-mates irritate me. He was busy but too often ineffective against a non-league defence.
All the others did well (including Chalobah, I thought), but all the evidence is they were not severely tested. Deeney and Sema looked good when they came on against a tiring defence.
Who says this team has never played together before? Presumably that is, in part, what squad training is for.
A very professional performance against a team of decent part-timers who didn't look like they were prepared to risk too much themselves.

We won and that is about it

Realistically it wasn't good enough, we were lazy on the ball, had to many wayward passes and failed to open up clear cut chances.

If nothing else it shows us just how far a starting 11 some of the fringe players are

There's quite a lot of bandwidth on the spectrum between being utterly **** against Woking and being beyond Watford's dreams because Chelsea will get you at any cost.

I liked Penaranda, different to Pereyra as a left wing option.

Bring him on with 15 minutes to go against tired opposition and he will cause problems I reckon.

Him, Pereyra, Deulofeu and Success are good wide options. Hopefully that means the end of the Will Hughes right winger experiment which worked okay to begin with but is starting to fail miserably.

God help me, people making excuses for that performance. It wasn't professional, it was an easy game for a load of footballers on 30k a week against, literally, plumbers. The amount of easy passes that went out of play was embarrassing, a school teacher came on for the love of god and we couldn't even string a few passes together. God knows how anybody can call that professional, shower of *****. Whoever said we will have to pray we avoid an injury crisis, I wholeheartedly agree.

Enjoyed the travel there and back. Mingled with a few orns’ walking up to the ground and saw the WD18 guy too.

Game was a bit lacklutat times andI thought we totally controlled the game without really trying to be at our best. Success was poor today, Great goal from Hughes with shot on the turn. Deeney Tap in from Sema’s cross wax well worked.

I thought Woking defended well but offered little despite there best chance was a header over near the end from a former hornet.

Assistant referee slipping over was brilliant, and nice seeing Deeney having banter with the Woking fans.

Professional performance overall with a mixture of second string changes who did the job. Great to finally see Pendz at last. He looked useful and had a few nice touches.

Overall a nice day out on what clubs of easily been our Newport.

Sema showed how good he is when he came on, getting a delightful cross in for Troy to score!

Both him and Deeney were the right substitutions at the right time!

Could have been worse, could have lost to Newport.

Anyone that can criticise Watford today, is clueless about football, IMO.

We rotated 11 players and still won the match comfortably. This shows the strength in depth we have. No weak links in the squad at all, just bags of potential.

The only thing we need is a top quality central defender and striker to become a solid top 10 side. Just two players away from being amazing.

Today told me how good we actually are.

We have an impressive record against non-league clubs. Won 19 out of 20 in FA Cup ties in our history. Not bad when you consider most of these matches were played when we were a lower league club.

The only loss was against Northwich Victoria in 1977. We were a poor 4th Division club then, just before GT took over.

There’s playing together in training sure, but that’s different to playing on a match day and then a cup game against semi pro opposition. Look back to the start of the season we fielded the same 11 for how many games? Wolves broke a record by fielding the same 11 for a number of games. So there is something to be said about these players not playing with each other before. I thought it was a great disciplined effort.

Give me strength. If somebody can tell me how playing an accurate pass is over exerting yourself I'll give you my house.

I guess I'm a mongoloid clueless about football.

Disclaimer; I missed the first half entirely so if that was magical then that changes things slightly but not fully.
