shortish hop for me and big stinger so straight home to reading for us to dinner and congratulations from the women. :]] :]]
Due to lack of funds i'll be staying away completely Been to every round so far but now can't afford the Semi's....DOH!
I'd love to, but the problem is i've got about £200, and after i've paid my rent i'll have about £60 or so. Tickets will be a minimum of £25 and petrol from poxy Plymouth will be touching the £60 mark so i'd already be begging, borrowing and stealing just to get a ticket and make it to Villa park. Then it'd be a month of starvation until i recieve my next student loan installment so i just don't think it'll happen. Nevermind though, i've still got the final to look forward to:]]
Seeing as i have been out of work for two months now with 600 pound rent to pay and another four hundred pound in bills, i know how you feel! But I don't know what your overheads are but, how about if you can get the the ticket we can pledge toward your petrol? They did it for hornet, why not you? personally i am on the breadline, but i am going to get a ticket if it kills me! Don't feel sorry for me though, i think i have got lucky cause i have a few jobs lined up but in the meantime i have quit smoking and cut down on the gambling saving me over 500 pound a month, thus meaning any debt i'm in now will be **** easy to pay off!
Cheers mate, i'm happy enough watching it on tv, it's a long journey from plymouth on my own and there are no trains back because of the late KO so i'd be forced to drive, which in turn means no booze. Can't win em all can you, obviously i'd love to be there. Only got myself to blame though, in typical student style i've blown my cash on a range of useless items and novelty drinks.
reprimand yourself! useless items and novelty drinks are not wastes of money. they're essential day to day items
I really haven't thought of travel plans at all... well from the league game earlier this season Villa Park is only 40 minutes away from my house in Leicester so I may stay over night in Leicester or just drive home...
Indeed, but perhaps in future i should stick to just one from each category per day....damn internet shopping where you can buy anything without leaving the comfort of your bed.
Well at least you have the comfort of been able to watch it on the TV. I think you should just have a massive house party and invite everyone you know that even remotely likes football! Get very drunk and if Watford win then you have to be sick at least 3 times!
Don't worry mate, i'll be down the pub with my mates cheering us on and hurling abuse at any Plymouth fans i might well encounter. Unless my final plan proves fruitful. I'll spare £10 and attempt to turn that money into slightly more. My two favoured choices are scratchcards or roulette in the bookies. Should turn my £10 into £40+ i'll get myself a ticket and do what it takes to get to Villa Park......so what should it be...roulette or scratchies?
Right as a gamler myself i would say i am a fair few grand down on the roulette and i buy scratchcards every other day for the last 4 or 5 years and the biggest win i have had is £36. If i was going to choose one of the two, i would say roulette. However if the question included horses and football i would be inclined to say one of those two. I would more than happily pick you 3 football teams to put your tenner on, in fact i will have a look now............
well if you did a ten pound double on hartlepool top of leauge two at home to chester and Preston away at Leeds then you would win £32.50. Both games tonight any good?
They are all crap round here unless it's the £5 maximum jackpot one because it's winter and there are no drunked up tourists whacking all their cash in.
Cheers mate, i know all about the perils of roulette, got pretty hooked last year and spent a good few quid of my student loan on them. The Hartlepool and Preston looks a decent bet.
Ah! the roulette bug, crack cocaine of gambling they call it. Funny you should mention the Hartlepool and Preston double. Went out and put a tenner on it myself i liked it that much. Good luck if you do it! oh and let me know!
Shocking.....went to go for a drive to the bookies and what do i find, a bloody flat tyre. What a joke, maybe it's just not meant to be.
Haha, the nearest bookies is a 10 minute drive, so thats a long walk so close to dinner , especially seeing as i need to replace the tyre, so i might have to go with the Scunthorpe option tomorrow morning.
