Wondered what happened to Daniel Tozser since his terrible spell at QPR so decided to look him up, now playing back in Hungary for Debrecen where he's scored 10 goals in the last 2 seasons. Could still definitely do a job for a league 2 team imo (he'll be 33 next month).

Kevin Richardson was the one that really hurt the most, excellent player and not just for us.

    1 goal in 11 - better than Gray's record...?

Geijo, Ranegie, Acuna, Ikpaezu...amongst a series of other hopeless strikers. Will soon be adding Gray and Okaka to this list

I seem to remember he was pretty decent (by championship standards)...was never in the same league as Jurado, Iriney orLucas Neil...!

Ikpeazu has scored 13 in League 2 for Cambridge this season. Out of contract in the summer though and is likely to be joining Hearts in Scotland..
I thought Geijo would have retired by now, but he's still playing in Serie B in Italy, with his team in the play-offs!
Ranegie is back in Sweden, albeit the 2nd division.
Acuna has flitted around a bit, a few spells in the Spanish second division before a move to Thailand (where he scored 6 goals in 15 games with only 9 starts), before heading back to Spain where he's found his level with 1 goal in 10 games.

I wonder if we can forecast what will happen to our current players, say in 5 years from now.

Andre Gray, re-signed for his beloved Luton Town after their two relegations, back in the Conference, where it all started for him. Scoring 6 goals from his 38 appearances to date.
Jordan Sinclair. On loan to Wealdstone, although struggling for game time at present.
Heurelho Gomes. Retired. Now the official interpreter for Richarlison.
Stefano Okaka. Retired. Now a bouncer at Jimmy John's
Troy Deeney. Retired. Now a frequenter at Jimmy John's
    Younès Kaboul. Currently injured.
José Holebas. Retired. Does nothing, but continues to watch football.

There's no way Holebas would continue to watch football. He clearly hates the game.

We seem to wreck a lot of careers.

Zola was the only guy who squeezed the very best from them all. We'll never see a goal as beautiful as Battocchio vs Huddersfield again and that saddens me. Even Mark Yeates looked decent! Still gutted it all went wrong :(

Not just me that thinks that then. It's another myth (along with the best scouting network in the world) the pitch of 'Come to Watford, play well with us for a couple of seasons and get your big move with our blessing'.

The Picture vs Reality is much like KFC's Rice Bowl:
