ok lets get going. tube. district line or hammersmith and city. upton park. 5 mins walk from the ground. come out turn right, and the ground is on the left. between the ground and the station are loads of fast food joints, etc, for the pre match nosh. the away end. is only via priory road. the stand has no accesss along the back. u must walk round. come out of the station, turn right. take the last left hand road ( tudor road ). walk down. bear right into the alley at the end, and this brings you out into priory road with our turnstiles the first on the right. or the longer way is to walk past the ground, and go right the way around. pubs not too easy here. some will let u in. some with colours, some not. but where ever you go, it is wise to show the west ham fans some respect on their patch. the boleyn pub is on the corner near the ground, plus the greengate and the village on the barking road. thats behind the bobby moore stand. the best pub for away fans is the moons outlet opp east ham town hall along the barking road. it was ok last time around. 20 mins walk. the queens pub on the right after the upton park station is ok for away fans in small numbers, as is the duke of edinburgh also near to upton park station. however, a better bet is a moons pub at liverpool st stn, the hamilton hall. a great pub, which gives you quick access to the required tube trains. or indeed a nice little pub in aldgate, with a hornet landlord.. after the game, upton park station has a queing scheme. if u leave at the final whistle, you can wait a very long time to get on to the platform. not going this year.. not to worry we have a league game there next year.;D;D;D;D;D .
arthur is trying to get you all a kicking BOELYN no go!!! duke nogo!!! the brit No go M&ms no go best bet is city of london till 2 straight to the ground !!!
these pubs are fine. if u behave like a ****, your behavior wont last long. as i said some pubs let you in some dont.;D west ham is the same as stoke millwall burnley. respect their patch, and all is well.
i heard that this little pub in aldgate, with a hornet landlord is ment to be where alot of watford fans go before a west ham game i know my uncle thinking about going there with all of his mates
Was some fella in the toilets at Villa asking anyone that was up for going to Aldagte! Whats the pub called Mick?
its ment to be a really good pub the last time we played west ham away my uncle said it was pack full of watford loads of singing and alot of watford went back there after the game
west ham is the same as stoke millwall burnley. respect their patch, and all is well.[/QUOTE] Tend to disagree with you. Went into a pub in West Ham when we were both in the Championship. I was with my neighbours and their son then aged 8. We met up wioth a frined of theirs who was West Ham and went into a pub with him. Got a load of abuse from a couple of West ham supporters, they were even aiming it at the young lad. I know that was only a couple of supporters out of the thousands but I will always remember that.
right if no one finds out the name of the pub by thursday i will ring up my uncle and see if he can remember the name of the pub
Not that it's of any interest to me and i can't make the match but that seems strange ??? A pub run by a Watford fan that doesn't seem to want his pub made known to fellow Watford fans. Excuse my ignorance but am i missing something here ?
Blimey, been in there a few times when going gigs at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane, Never realised it was a Watford pub (or at least had a Watford landlord).
cant someone just tell us what its actually called? conspiracy theorists could have a field day on this one... secret meetings of watford fans... i reckon its something to do with crack dealing... or possibly aliens?
