The football ground guide website reckons the Vine, just off junction 1 of the M5 (about half a mile from the ground) is a good pub for away fans.

For those seasoned travellers amongst you, is this the best pub for visitors coming off the M5? - and if it isn't, which is the pub that is mostly frequented by visiting 'Orns (even if that means drinking with PYA :]])

Hey BB - the information you requested is priceless - most ***** drink in the shyte pub near he brum station, others are scttered around puking and generally zombified asking directions to west broms ground.

wba 6 wfc 0 - why bother you gloryhunters - boooooooo

Thanks Paddy, I'll try to avoid the puddles of honk as I make my way to the ground!

But as I'm driving up I'll give Brum station a miss and give the Vine a go - a selection of real ales and chicken tikka kebabs sound ok to me.

....hmmmmm....better go easy with that mix or I could be decorating the pavements too

the vine is a shytehole, don't go there - rats and mice and the injuns, they spit on the tikka's and pish in the naans.

It's ok, I've travelled the world and I welcome the opportunity to sample local traditions.

And given the complete dearth of alternatives suggested by the travelling hoards it has to be worth a look..I'll certainly keep an eye on the chef though after your revelations :]]

Out of interest, where is your West Brom watering hole of choice?

If you're driving, what difference does it make what pub you go to?

I'm sure most pubs sell Britvic Orange

    Take it or leave it

It doesn't resolve the most pressing issue of your apparent attitude towards drinking and driving

Why do you people need 'advice' on where to drink?

Why don;t you just go to Birmingham, have a wander about for a few minutes, see a pub that looks okay and go in it?

Do you need similar advice on where to buy nappies you big babies?

Thanks WFC SAM for your relevant and non-patronising input. I may wander into Brum if I get there early.
