Normally cheap to Brum New Street and then walk to Brum Snow Hill and get the $hitty tram to 'The Hawthorns' which I don't think you need to pay for.
One of the best away games in my opinion (the fact that its one of my most local has nothing to do with it, honest). Few beers in brum first, then hop on the 'Watford Tram' to the Hawthorns.

Its less than £5 return from Stoke to Brum New Street. Walk to Snow Hill, get the metro thingy to the ground. Tickets are only £14 for students too, which is excellent.
Im getting the train up to birmingham new street friday midday. Staying with my mate who goes to UCB. Then off to the game saturday (which is also my birthday ) from Snow hill on the tram. My train ticket was only £14 - gonna be good

yeah but this is a train from boro, so a bit more expensive, cus you know everyones trying to get out of the **** hole so the train fares are set to take as much doll money from the smogs as possible, its a **** take that i can be considered a child in the terms of not (legally) being able to do anything but they still expect me to pay a small fortune for an adult's ticket at football!
