I have to say I've read through that page a few times since, it is legendary! It should be framed.

 

Sorry I felt I had to close, when I took it on I didn't foresee how time consuming running it is. I've not done enough work this week and in my industry with the World Cup and Royal Ascot around the corner I've had to work a bit late sometimes.

 

It is quite time consuming to run and this one seems more complex than usual. If I do another one soon I'll be making it bog standard basic roles and write ups probably (though may add in the odd cheeky additional role).

 

To be fair Otter you've done a grand job so far.

The thing was that the usual format was a bit stale and the introduction of a harlot last year made a nice change. I won't say any more about new things until after the event but it's clear that this has reinvigorated interest in the game.

 

When this game is finished can you post where you get these extra roles from, or are they made up by you?

 

The thing I thought was most daunting was the morning write ups, but obviously I can't predict the night actions so they've ended up being a bit easier (though time consuming) to do than I expected.

 

I made them up mostly but I did get a bit on inspiration from somewhere online but can't remember right now. The gunslinger was wholly my idea.

 

That role was inspired.

 

The way it was used in the game was inspired too

 

I think if I had such a role I would be itching to use it from the off!

As I said in the cemetery, I get bored and restless when we don't get messages all morning.

What do you expect me to do, work?

 

This game has seriously affected how much work I've done this week. Previous games I've left it for an hour so at minimum between views but this game...

 

As a player other than the seer or alpha it is incredibly frustrating to wait for them to drop in, as the person running the game it's even worse!

 

After yesterday, today was always going to be a little less exciting. This was like the Predator 2 day.

 

Try telling that to the players!

 

Today was a bit of an anti-climax. Here's hoping it picks back up tomorrow.

I was half expecting the closing theme of Eastenders to sound out when I reached the bottom of the page.
