After posting on here before the game, i thought i'd better come back afterwards and congratulate you lot. We may have had more chances and your keeper played a blinder etc etc but at the end of the day you won fair and square. I thought your support was excellent yesterday and didn't stop singing even though you must have been biting your nails for much of the second half! Good luck to you in the semis.

Cheers mate, enjoy the rest of the season!

Tewkesbury Green, I come on here talking to this lot more than I go on LFC's website (some right numpties on there). These are a great bunch, had the privelige of meeting a few of them when they came to Anfield and then I went to the Vic.
Al the best for the rest of the season, if you continue to play like that, the premier league is a definate possibility.:)

absolutely! Maximum respect to both of you!

And maximum respect to Argyle last night and your manager! Big fan of Holloway, one of the few who actually sees football how it is!

Bloody hell! A sensible Plymouth supporter!

I reckon he's one of the few who had four grand parents.

I had the priviledge to watch the Plymouth match on Danish telly, and I feel I have to comment on a few things.

Firstly - Christ we were poor. If this is how we've played much of this season - no wonder we're going down. And based on Sunday's performance we are going down and anyone believing differently is not just an optimist but a raving lunatic.

Secondly, Plymouth wanted it more, they believed in themselves more and they fought harder than our boys. For a team boasting great team spirit, we showed very little spark and even less courage. Despite hoofing not working for 90 minutes straight - not once did we try to pass the ball around to make our - supposedly - less skilfull opponents round circles. Instead I had endure Mariappa get killed by Sinclair et al over and over and over and over again....

Thirdly - and this is a biggie: They showed why they are a Championship side. They showed it by their lack of ability in front of goal. Basically if we had let a premiership side run at us like that - even a team of Shittus and Fosters couldn't have saved us.

Fourth and final point. As I saw the game they beat us at everything but the one thing that counts. Goals. Thank God for Hameur Bouazza and for the deflection - now let's start believing in ourselves and win the ******* thing. If not for ourselves - then let's win it for Plymouth so they can say they went out to the eventual winners. It's the least they deserve.

Ok we are not going to score great goals by passing the ball around but at least keeping the ball would have released the pressure piled on us.

The Plymouth central defenders must have headaches with the number of times they had to head the ball from Foster's kicks!
