http://www.mastersfootball.com/londonmasters_2007.htm London Masters last year was over 2 days including Watford. This year it has been downsized just to one day and will feature Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham. Shame as last year was brilliant for atmosphere and watching past players.
Masters is awful and they should be left to be remembered for the amazing stuff they did in their professional career. To see old players roll around sort of ruins the legendary status a bit for me.
Have to admit i'd have liked to have gone if we were in it, anyone know how they choose the teams? I wanted to go last year but forgot about it until the day it was on, but then i like to watch the Masters on sky anyway because it tides me over 'till the football season begins again!!
No did he play for us? i just thought he turned up got a huge amount of money. Really stuggle to remember him ever playing football. Stood around on the pitch but play?
Don't forget the way he used to threaten with attempts on goal and terrorise the other defenders around him as a result :rant:
I try not to member Vega's comedy dribbling on his own goal line! The masters is always funny to watch even if is to see John Barnes try to move his rather large frame around for 5 mins until he pulls the inevitable hamstring. And as for Jan Molby, I think he wears an XXXL shirt now, still can pass it better than most pros though!
