    Not at all.

Nothing to cry about, I was just expressing my opinion (whilst its still free to do so in this country ;))

To be honest it's not even specifically the Plymouth v Watford thing that annoys me. It's the wider principle of what the BBC have done.

    This is my favorite post...

Let's face it, any time the kick-off of a football match is dictated by a TV company who wants to show egg-chasing instead, then there is something seriously wrong.

    I gave an alternative.

Keep TV times as previous rounds.
Put us Sat lunchtime BBC1, Paddies v Sweaties first half BBC2 then switch to BBC1 for second half.

After all how many ENGLISH people are interested in that Rugby match? Or use the regional sat channels was another way round it.

The ITV have got it right - they don't think twice about putting Arsenal on one of their 4 channels. Makes you laugh that BBC can't think the same way.:dismay:

I'm going down and making a weekend of it with the family but would've preferred to take the Friday afternoon off and come back Sunday night rather than the Monday

So much for the magic of the Cup :dismay:

People who are saying that they make difficult and late night journeys for midweek games in the league are missing the point that this is a cup game. If you miss a midweek league game there will be another one at the weekend.

I've posted waiting for approval now.

I was going to try to go to the game but its about a 10 hour drive for me and I'm working the next day

Thing is midweek games are not at silly times on the whim of a tv company so people who try to compare are missing the point entirely.

I guess mine never got approval because of my comment re the Paddies and Sweaties Rugby.

I suggested we play at 12.00 Saturday live on BBC1.

Above rugby starts at 1.30pm on BBC2 and switches to BBC1 on completition of the football, thus the whole second half.

Or use the regional sat channels or BBC3 or BBC4 or interactive.

They should have bunged it on cartoon network 3pm Saturday. would have fitted nicely.
