Out of 120 minutes of pure turd, Andre Gray still managed to surpass everyone else's turd performance with that kick off in extra time.

    What. A. Guy.

Nothing wrong with the squad depth. We got to the final last season rotating the side. In fact I thought our FA Cup side was better than the first team last season. Not sure why we had to play quite so many U23's. I don't think that was necessary. Tranmere are crap and we should have got through this tie with ease, no matter what team we put out.

    Incredibly bad that we didn't.

I'm devastated that we are out, as if!

Well done Tranmere, good luck against United

Prenton Park Poltroons. Take a bow all those involved in tonight. Brazilian Superstar Jao Pedro, Portuguese Big Man Quina and Greek hard man amongst them - not to mention the ******* waste of 18m that we're still utterly saddled with up front, who showed nothing over 210 minutes against a team of part time fatties.

Get every single one of these shitbags out of my club. Now.

Not happy we're out, but I'm not angry or upset that we are. Surely you agree it's not a bad thing we have 8 days to prepare for Everton rather than having to play man united on Sunday?

For the first two round but wasn't the team much the same as usual from there on in?

Prepared to be proven wrong but certainly the Palace game was a strong 1st team side .

I think the first game showed a lack of fitness and game management and now they probably out muscled us a lot .

Well that was the most unexpected shock upset ever! With the team that we had out I would say it would have been more of a surprise if we had won the match, that was not even a second string side it was mostly a 3rd string team of teenagers and they held their own against a crap team but a physically stronger team. I kind of quietly hoped we would go out and just concentrate on the next league game anyway.

Just think of the Tranmere fans right now. We took the utter piss by playing Andre Gray, a man who cost £18m. Just imagine what £18m could do for Tranmere, few new players, new pitch, stadium improvements etc. Instead, we showcased what £18m worth of shyte does. Failing to kick a still ball, 10 yards. It's like buying a Toyota Aygo for Bugatti money.

Filthy, filthy cowards. The lot of them. All probably wearing their headphones now and completely uncaring about the global shame they've brought on the club. Sickening bags of effluence - every man jack of them.

I’m confused. Last week you said Tranmere were almost certainly going to win. And you were right!

But now you’re saying we should have won no matter what team we put out?

A Toyota Aygo still does a job. A more apt comparison would be buying one of the Redbull Soapbox Derby cars, after it's gone over the jump and disintegrated, for Bugatti money.

I don't get it. We don't play Everton until 1st Feb. I think players not being able to play more than once a week is exaggerated. The opposition we played was very poor. Being knocked out by a relegation threatened League One side is embarrassing. Two games and we still couldn't beat them.

United on Sunday would have been a perfect tonic. Knocking them out of the FA Cup would have been fantastic.

There is absolutely no upside to losing tonight. We're a Premier League side. We should have easily beaten a team like Tranmere over two games with the squad we have available to us. How much money have we invested to assemble that squad compared to Tranmere.

Now we're on a bad run. Two defeats on a spin. Now we're all down in the dumps and everything is looking sh1t again.

Genuinely made me chuckle. Then I thought, considering where we were under Baz, it's depressing how much money we've utterly wasted

Settle down FFS, that was a glorified training game.

I doubt most of the first team even knew we were playing tonight

Imagine the boost its given Gray to play on the same pitch as Manny Monthe. Could be the experience young Andre needs to kick on.

We had Kabasele, Quina, Gray and Holebas starting tonight. Even the likes of Dele-Bashiru would be far out of the reach of a side like Tranmere. The rest have all got aspirations to play at Premier League level. Yes they're young, but they should have the right stuff to be better than a team staring down the prospect of playing bottom league football next year.

Utterly pathetic. I hope that every one of them is driven back on the coach, straight to the training ground and then beasted in their underwear throughout the night. Make them do laps, burpees, squats and star jumps for 8 hours, in the cold, spraying them with a hose periodically. Toughen these pathetic, scrawny turds up, or break them and ship them out.

We would have played a weakened team and got smashed by Man U.

this will have no impact on the confidence of our first team.

if we want to stay in the prem league, tonight’s game has done nothing to damage that. plenty of prem league teams have lost to div 1, whilst putting out better teams .

really we are on a one game losing run, and you know that. Tonight was the not team we will rely on to stay up.

It's the FA Cup, not a training game. We're much better than this. Regardless of team picked we shouldn't be losing that.

Who is? Probably the happiest I've seen the forum after a match recently.

Troy will probably lead the pelters at Gray in training. Gray will get upset, try to take the ball home as if he's in a playground, before he drops it and trips over, and somehow ends up at Leeds.

It's Watford by reputation. Of course it's two defeats on the spin. You cannot airbrush results from history because you don't recognise the team that was picked.

Wins breed confidence. Defeats breed fear and negativity. What if we lose to Everton next week.....would this sacrifice been worth it? No way.

We want to stay in the Premier League, doesn't mean you have to lose FA Cup matches.....surely last season would have proved that to you?
