Always check garages and sheds, cats being curious creatures! Soul, one of three cats that live behind the tennis club, got herself shut in the bar on Sunday! Didn't stop her,Boo and Bear having tea yesterday mind! Bats flying and screeching over court 6 last night too, most exhilarating! I am thinking of cancelling my work today and leaving WGC for the game now, traffic will be a pain in the Wenger.
Interesting tweet from Paddy Power The FA have granted Romelu Lukaku special dispensation to kick the sh*t out of whoever the f*ck he wants tonight against Watford.
The tip the vet gave us was to go around the neighbourhood calling the cat's name early in the morning or late at night. Less noise so the voice carries further. Turns out the cat doesn't really know his name anyway. Happily, Operation Yewtree turned a blind eye so we're quits.
Vital that Holebas starts. Our go to WUM. Problem is that he generally winds himself up & gets dismissed before he can apply his dark arts to the opposition.
If you have to watch the game live, please can you keep the score quiet for a few hours? I'm playing 5 a side during the game itself and would very much like to watch the recording without knowing the score. It's really not that unreasonable a request.
If Goal.com is anything to go by, then the Man Utd team they have predicted to start will see us line up against 9 men. Should win easily then. Potential Man Utd starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, Young; Pogba, Matic, Matic, Mkhitaryan, Rashford; Lukaku. Two Matic’s and Mkhitaryan was left back as reported yesterday. Clearly Goal.com don’t do their research.
I've actually emailed both clubs to ask if they wouldn't mind delaying kick off until 10.15pm. Sharing here out of courtesy in case they fail to publicise
Knowing modern football, where it's all about money money money, they probably won't even respond. I sometimes wonder if the football clubs even realise that without fans they wouldn't exist!
When Loofa fractured his skull in a challenge with Gary Bailey...I remember it well just after the Bradford fire if I recall correctly, then a few days later we lost 4-3 at Liverpool.
Did he? I don't actually remember that at all. It was just after the fire, yes. I recall my mother (I was at uni then) being concerned about me attending for that reason. Not that the fire having taken place made another one any more likely, of course. That's just mothers for you.
We’ve got 2 indoor cats, perfectly fit, healthy and not run over+saves time looking in sheds etc 3-1 the mighty ‘orns
Yeah.I'm pretty sure it was that game. Funny you should say that, my family in Italy phoned up to see if I was ok as they thought it happened at Watford.
Then you are absolutely mental. Doucoure is fantastic and perhaps good enough to make it into one of the top 6s midfield, but Pogba is one of the top 10 players in the world.
Gomes (GK) (C); Mariappa, Pr*dl, Kabasele; Femenía, Cleverley, Doucouré, Zeegelaar; Hughes, Richarlison; Gray. Subs: Karnezis (GK), Wagué, Janmaat, Capoue, Carrillo, Pereyra, Deeney. Defence has been poor this season. Prodl returning makes it instantly better and raises our chances of winning up a notch.
I agree, Prodl strengthens our defence (providing he doesn't get into his back-peddling mode). Good line up and bench.
Lindelof & Smalling both start in what looks like a back 3. Deeney can bully both of them later on as they're not the strongest. Only a two man central midfield which, from reading Man Utd forum, is not a good thing for them and Lingard is sh*t but probably going to double up on our boy Rich. Feel a lot more confident after seeing the United line up. COYH!!!!
Another free hot so hopefully we take the game to them seeming as the pressure is essentially off a little.
Every time I decide that Lingaard is garbage he always has a great game before going back to garbage for 10 games. Hope it isn’t tonight!
Pleased with the lineup, its as strong as it can be. Will see how we measure up against a top side right now.
