What? That is a crazy lineup! How can he pick that team? He's asking for the sack, surely. Well, we stand absolutely no chance now.
Presumably João up front, Asprilla behind. Hopefully Davis stays injured. Araujo and Martins "knocking on the door", but Wilder couldn't work out how to open it.
On my BT box, if you have something on, you can rewind it as long as you don't change channel. I sometimes do this if nobody is going to be watching a different channel (set the box to the channel I want and turn the TV off).
JP must be the striker, with Asprilla just behind him. Probably Asprilla's best position tbf, and although up front as a main striker isn't JP's best position, he can play there and he's better than any of the alternatives with the possible exception of Araujo
Martins is heading to Brazil. Araujo hasn't really knocked at the door so much as given it a gentle stroke with his pinky finger.
They're probably about as chuffed as we've been with how he has helped to fire us in to the playoffs.
Bachmann Porteous Cathcart Hoedt Ferreira Choudhury Louza Kone Sema Asprilla Pedro Absolutely ridiculous that Araujo isn’t on the bench. This is why I don’t want Wilder permanently. He just comes across as a **** that won’t play “foreigners” unless they have championship experience. We’ve got a very talented youngster on loan, we’re struggling for goals and yet we go with Assombalonga. It’s madness. Something definitely not right and you can add Benfica to the list of clubs who hate us.
Wilder gets a whole week of Adrian Blake training with the first team, doesn't see him worthy of even a place on the bench.
Maybe because he's still refusing to sign a contract with us? The odd one is Adeyemo, especially with Davis injured.
Oh he had no problem openning the door, it's the fact Britt was stood in the hallway and they couldn't get past him.
What better way to show he's a valued member of the squad than to give him opportunities? Wilder sees them both everyday and decides Britt is a better option. Not a great endorsement
Although I agree its ridiculous. I have a theory araujo has a BIG clause/appearance fee if he plays an extra game that pozzo is not willing go pay. The reality is even if he was terrible we've been behind so many games we'd roll the dice, rather than bring the fat one on.
Win today and we'll be ahead/level with Norwich, or within 3/4 points of Blackburn. Very last chance of even having a chance. Don't want to even think about how poor the effort levels will be once play offs are mathematically out of the question.
They will play out of their skin once the play offs are out of reach. They don’t want to be here. Effort will be maximum so they can get a move in the summer.
Has he even played under Wilder ? Guess he is just seen as totally unsuited to the league . Maybe a fair point (your classic old school British manager) but Kone usually plays albeit maybe no real choice !
