Tense game. I actually thought Palace did pretty well the first 30mins of second half so a battling performance to win.

Pereyra did little but then had the magic factor to effective win it for us. Delefeou and Deeney were excellent. Gray now has a knack for scoring winners from the bench and looks very sharp.

Marriappa has been generally excellent since January so he get a free pass for the blunder. Masina still worries me so hope Holebas is back soon.

Tbf, losing twice to Brighton and three times to us this season, I don't think they have much to smile about.

Fair play to Gray. He has never moaned about being on the bench for most of this year, and is proving to be a real asset.

Gray has delivered value for money this season with some key goals. Fair play. I think the role off the bench suits him tbh, but it's a great asset to have someone like him, who can score 5 or 6 goals a season as a late sub.

Highlights of the game were Delofeou tracking back and making a crucial tackle in the 2nd half and Javi's big hug for Gomes immediately after the final whistle. Lovely stuff.

    What a good day.

Gray is a legend. I’ve wanted us to have a super sub since Kevin Phillips left us.
He has scored the winner against detestable two teams in Everton and now Palace, as well as Leicester.

Gomes crying as was probably told it was his last game. Well played sir we salute you

I thought this had 1-2 written all over it when they equalised but Gracia and the pozzos know best.

Can we somehow organise a singing section for Wembley and if the great aunts must come and complain about standing keep them somewhere high and away from behind the goal

The overall transformation upfront is particularly astonishing, considering how most bemoaned the lack of investment in the summer and - to a lesser extent - in January. Our three main strikers have scored 23 goals between them this season, and all three bring much more to the table than just their goals.

Deeney and Gray were called "Championship strikers" and Deulofeu is being played "out of position".

I think Javi might be a genius.

The club designated the upper middle of the Rookery for the 1881, I'm 99.9% certain they'll be doing the same at Wembley.

That was another hard win, in the first half we had the win and the advantage which they had the second half, we could of done with a two goal lead going into half time as it was obvious they would come at us the second half. Unfortunately we gifted them their goal however super sub Andre popped up at the right time COYH!

Second round running we are the first through! lets hope we make it three times running!

Delofeou was great. I don't think his fancy Dan stuff was coming off today, but he's showing he can offer more than just being a player who is useful if he's got the beating of his defender.

He works his arse off and has started to show, consistently that he's a valuable player.

Can someone explain to me how the funny little jumpy up and down men are allowed to make gestures to the LGT throughout the game and remain in the ground?
    Happy weekend everyone!

Just back. Fantastic performance overall bar a dodgy spell just aftef half time. Cant complain with their goal, Mapps was caught in possession.

Harry with the pitch fork poping balloons has to be a season highlight. Great displays especially Delafoo and Preyera. What a run and pass for Gray to stab home. Capoue's openner was class, dispite initialy coming from a poor corner.

Gomes had notthing to bar the odd save first half and we marshalled Palarse quite well. Lots of compact midfield play abd a commanding back line.

Another class well timed sub from Javi. Standing ovatuon for Delafoo who played really well. Gomes at the end, lap of honor, tears and spending time with the fans what a signing he has been. Great guy.

Fans were great today seeing some Palarse fans crying was a bonus too. Only downside is a couple of incidents before the game which soon settled down.

Wind was awful. Eggs and chips were nice when i got home. Wembely. Watford are going back to Wembley.

It was a strangely straight forward win today, but the big news before kick off that Zaha was missing, really was a boost.

Overall we were the better side, although I was a bit concerned with how we started the second half. Very sloppy on the ball, but we withstood a potential swing in the match to go on to win it.

Gomes only had a couple of saves to make and Watford had the better chances.

Wonderful goal from Gray. He's really having a purple patch in front of goal. His last three Vicarage Road appearances has seen him come off the bench to score the winner.

It's going to be our 7th FA Cup semi-final, but let's hope we go one further this time.

What an incredible season this is turning out to be.

Just glad to get the win in the end, great finish by Gray and good work to see it out. Would have been nice if the team had come out at the start of the second half rather then stay in the dressing room for another 30 minutes. If Palace had really pushed us they could of got the win but they didn't create much and so missed out. Shame :D
This season really is fun overall though, ups and downs along the way but a real sense of progress, a cup run and a chance of the highest finish we could realistically hope for at the start of the season.

I thought the performance was generally below par. We did OK in the first half and went in, deservedly in front, but for the first 30 of the second, we were awful. From the point they scored, it seemed inevitable that they would take the momentum and go on to win, however, Gray's introduction changed all that.

I felt like there were a few players off their game and Masina looks terrible. I hope Holebas is not out for long, as his understudy makes us significantly weaker.

Pereyra did little until his magical chipped ball in for the winner.

Deolefeu and Deeney both worked their arses off. Hughes wasn't great, but he is always a physical presence and offers something in terms of challenging for balls and helping the defender. Speaking of which, Kiko looked very good. His first full game back for some time, but he was very comfortable, in the main.

Mapps obviously dropped an absolute bollock for the goal, but he and Cathcart have done well of late - the latter scoring an assist for the first.

In summary, we're in the hat for the draw, for the semi final - we go again! WE GO AGAIN!

The best thing was they all arrived together, coming down Vicarage Road. There was an old boy in a wheelchair with a Watford scarf just in front of them. It really looked like he was in charge and escorting them.

They all had colour coordinated jackets, which was a nice touch. Thumbs up from Laura Ashley.

Kudos to the GT & SEJ for the banners & excellent to see so many flags in the Rookery.

The enthusiastic flag waver in front of me spared me having to watch the last 4 mins.
