Definitely remember hearing a bunch of p*ssed up geordies singing it outside the Vicarage road end in 2016 when we beat them in the cup. Took a couple of listens to work out what they were singing but thought it was a great chant when I worked it out.

 

I do find it funny to think of those group of well ‘ard, dressed in black, trying to be intimidating clowns singing Glad all Over which is up there with I’m forever blowing bubbles as the most ridiculous “anthem” for a football club ever. Anytime you think how great it would be for Watford to have an anthem, be careful what you wish for.

 

Hopefully Wolves will get City as they are good at beating the big teams.

We wondered that.

When was the last time we played the wrong way round?

 

We also wondered if the wind was the reason for our abysmal passing in the first part of the second half. Passes underhit all over the place.

 

The queue up Occupation Road was worse than usual.

 

Glad to see the youngsters playing like the first team against Liverpool.

 

Good value really. Given his playing record this season, that equates to £1.8m per goal and £8054 for each minute played...

 

No goals or assists as per FF.

Something to dwell on in each one.......for example:

From observing the forum, I’d say we see things in proportion & most have a breadth of interests. Whether they be Marxism, crypto or twig collection.

Having said this, my life is better when we win & I try to follow, to some extent, GT’s values & Elton’s spirit. I was exposed to them at an impressionable age & am stuck with them.

 

Having a quick scan of the Palace forum and it’s very much like the Everton one. They have a completely bizarre and misplaced view of where they are in the football world and where they should be.

We are tin pot with tin pot fans and they should be beating teams like Watford... Even though we’ve beaten them three times this season. The irony of saying such a thing after losing three times to us is completely lost on them.

They’re palace, they've never really amounted to much, they’ve got a **** ground in a **** part of London, with essentially one good player who isn’t quite good enough for the top 6 so just stays at palace season after season.

I don’t actually have anything against Palace, but it’s bizare that they view themselves as anything more than they currently are, if anything they’re probably over achieving.

I do generally think we have some of the most grounded fans about, maybe that will change after a few more seasons in the PL though.

 

I think in a lot of fans' heads we are still just a lower Championship club who have maintained our PL status for so long by dumb luck, and soon it'll all come crashing down. Perceptions may slowly be changing, particularly with our performances in league and cup this season, but we'll have to keep these levels up for years to come before certain opposition fans show any measure of respect towards us.
