Just decided yesterday to pay the £25 for a BT monthly pass . Doh!nWidh they had told us this a bit earlier.
I just got my free BT sport pass to watch this. Really excited now. @NathWFC @GoingDown @Jumbolina we will have a bigger shout box than usual. Please bear in mind the happy clappy 1881 types who go to games will be there. Let's show then what Shoutbox is really all about. #teamtoxic
You should also get 2X now tv passes for Watford home games on Sky. Note that you'll only get BT sport codes for home games, so you'll still need this to watch away games.
I've pre-prepared a Word document of moans, groans and complaints, as well as various swearing and abuse combinations, for copy and paste convenience. I'm ready.
Looking forward to having you back old boy. It's not been the same seeing you post sensible, thought out material. I need the horsesh1te you normally produce
Yep. The usual suspects will bring the banter and moans, @wfcmoog will supply the post match BBQ while @StuBoy watches from the portable toilet. Peeps passing burgers and hot dogs under the door.
Not seen it but is that because he replied to every question by threatening to exterminate the journalist?
I think @Filbert is a closet Hornet at heart. He's Leicester through and through on the outside and at games, but has a sneaky look at our results and gives a little fist pump if we win. Problem is Saturday he'll be on the fence - or peering over one to get a look at BT Sport at 12.30.
No he's a LC fan through and through. Like all LF fans he just wants to see us relegated, forget the Champs League. It's been genetically proven. Total b******s.
If Leicester win tomorrow I’ll be in with some patronising words about hoping you stay up blah blah blah. Watford win and it’ll be the pretend good loser routine. Happy for Pearson etc. Can’t lose mate.
In a recent survey, most Leicester fans rated Muzzy Izzet confirming our relegation as their favourite ever moment, ahead of winning the league.
Tough game tomorrow. They'll be bang up for it, as should we. If we're competitive & keep it tight then you never know, we might just sneak the three points. Think NP will go Welbeck over Pereyra. The rest of the team should really pick itself as long as all players are fit. Foster Kiko Cathcart Kabasele Masina Capoue Hughes Sarr Doucoure Welbeck Deeney
If Pearson stays and I hope he does then the backroom staff will be overhauled. Medical team for a start. It doesn't help that some of the players we can get a reasonable chance of signing are rather fragile. Let's hope Welbeck doesn't break down again for a start because fit he will be an asset. Success needs to bugger off. A real waste of money. Lack of application on and off the pitch unfortunately.
I’m sure you know this but Pearson’s approach to recruiting his own staff including medical and scouting was incredible during his time with us. Definitely more of a long term club builder than a firefighting manager.
Indeed Filbert. I dearly would love to see him undertake a project here. It would need Gino to understand that he needs to allow the reins and particularly those of Giraldi to not shackle Nigel's decisions. If they do I can unfortunately see Nigel leaving because proud, intelligent man that he is, he won't stand for it. Our scouting in Britain really needs work. GT built up a fabulous network and like Nigel put the hard yards in watching targets several times a month from down the pyramid, reserve and youth matches. Scouting abroad can still be left to the Pozzo network.
Why use a portable toilet when I have my iphone to watch it all on? I can support the team in my own way comfortably from the throne room.
If we don’t sign him up longer term whether we stay up or stay down, then the people in charge are more dense than I thought. He needs to be given more than a disjointed season to do something.
I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of a book about our title winning side and there’s a fascinating chapter including a lot of what Pearson put in place. I’ll type up some highlights for you if I get the time over the weekend, there’s a lot I didn’t know about his work behind the scenes. Turning down money for new signings preferring to spend it on data analysts, trusting a university student who was basically on work experience with his first team’s fitness.... stuff like that.
Have the Leicester team left yet? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....kely-localised-lockdown-leicester-4244252.amp
Quick snippet of what the The Vic looks like ahead of tomorrow: Meanwhile, at a hovel at the bottom of the Championship, this embarrassing show is in place:
First goal wins it tomorrow - none of the teams look 100% fit and nobody has looked capable of chasing the game once behind
You spoke too soon. The games are so stretched in the last 10-15 minutes with lots of players knackered that there looks as if there'll be plenty of chances for goals for teams with pacy subs to make use of the extra space. You don't want to fall more than 1 goal behind; so long as that's the case it's not over until it's over.
Yup, although spurs just sat back and invited pressure + Dier got duped by pogba. I think a non Jose side would have actually held on to that.
